Engaging Architect Association

Hi everyone.

I'm a newbie in property. I just got my keys to a new condo unit from developer and was wondering it is worth engaging the architect association to check on the defects especially things like:
plumbing, dampness and leaks & electrical deficiencies, Structural integrity

As I heard some of this issues only happens after a few years and I don't want to be caught with these issues once i'm saying there and worst still after the 2 years liability period.

Or is there a simpler way to do it as the independently without them?

Any feedback on those who use them before?

Hi all,

I'm not getting a clear answer from TM regarding Unifi Biz 100Mbps. Would any of you know if a standard copper wiring in place in a standard high rise building from MDF to mid floor office (e.g. 11th floor) is sufficient to work with Unifi 100Mbps without degrading the bandwidth speed? Or do I need to change it to optical fiber?

Anyone have experience using 100Mbps on a building? Any issues that I need to know about?

Thanks.

shared printer problem

hi everyone,

i have several printer connecting to a PC tat serve as a Print Server shared in a network. currently the operating system for the PC is a win xp.

wat i heard is tat win xp can only allow maximum of 10 user accessing the PC through network, therefore if there is more than 10 user try to send print job from network it would have problem.

my question is whether is there any solution for this problem?

i do not wan to get win server 2003 just to do printing job as i know it can support more than 10 users access from network.

thanks
