Shopee website unusually slow my pc

Hi, does anyone having problems when browsing Shopee website since last week?

For my case, it'll paralyze the pc in few minutes once u start browsing. When I check the task manager, can see the Firefox.exe or Chrome.exe (I tried both) resource usage skyrocketing till 90%++.

I tried with desktop pc (Xeon E3-1230v2, 8GB Ram) & a low end laptop (Pentium N4200, 4GB Ram), both end up same result. The only way to stop that is to close the entire browser, just closing the shopee tab won't stop the resource hogging as if the browser gone haywired.

I suspect the culprit is the Shopee website itself cos the browser behave normal as long as when browsing other websites.

Feel free to share your experiences.

Thank you.
