Gaming laptop or normal laptop?

Hi,

Is there any different between gaming laptop vs normal laptop, if their spec is same e.g both are i7, 8gb RAM. Any advantage for a gaming laptop?

Plan to buy a new laptop, my main usage is for programming, normally I will run few vs-code, chrome ...etc dev tools.

As I know Sharp LCD TV LC-40L550M come with a USB port (video player) which can play video, does anyone know what kind of file format is can support? like rmvb, mp3, mkv, ...?

I search Sharp website and download the PDF, can't find any info about that...
