Main concern is the size, any resolution will do.

Which one will suite me more for daily usage:

1. 60% movie and web browsing
2. 40% gaming (having gtx980)

Hi Dear Members,

As my previous post, i am building a PC dekstop for my brother for his second year architecture studies. I have gotten the spec suggested in here, now i need another help to upgrade my current PC, mainly used for gaming and entertainment movie, minor use for some programming utilities (Ex: Eclipse JAVA, WAS, DB2 Express, Razor SQL).

Spec on below:

i5 4690 (3.5G/6mb)
Gigabyte H97M-D3H
Kingston HyperX PC1600 8gb (X2)
3TB WD Green + 1TB WD Green

My budget is only rm2.5k, what came in to my mind is graphic card and SSD? Which GC and SSD worth for the budget?

Hi dear member,

Usage more on architecture design software, example (Revit, 3ds max, revit and Photoshop).

No gaming but i think the rig is more likely similar to gaming rig since i need a good graphic card and also fast processing.

Im looking for a monitor mainly used for gaming and movie, initially im looking on 27' inch monitor at lowyat today then i got to know Samsung came out with this new model S32D850. So im interested to know the performance on gaming and movie.

Anyone currently using this model? Can share the experience on gaming, movie and also document viewing? Need to get some expert feedback before i buy this monitor. Thanks.

Hi All,

Here is my story, i just move in to a hillside condominium for a couple of week and opposite the condo having a huge building construction. Definitely, there are serious dust flew in everyday, so i did not open the window frequently. After a week, i found out there are mold growing in the wooden material and even my expensive mattress also. I have tried to clean it with wet cloth but after 3 days, it started to grow back, then i notice that my place have a very high humidity due to the hill beside and also the window are not frequently open due to a serious dust.

I am very tied to clean the mold in my house every week. So i am seeking for advice here. I know that the best solution is to put a air purifier to control the humidity but it is very high budget if i want to put the air purifier in each room and living room.

Anyone having the same problem as me. Kindly advice?

Hi All,

Story begin with me as driver and 4 other friends, all girls in 1 car heading our way back to home after having party at my friend house. The time is about midnight 3 something, suddenly we heard a police siren and a police car is chasing us and call us to stop, but that time there are no car/ppl around, and the place was so dark because the road is some old highways road and hardly see ppl traveling that road during midnight. Some more beside the road are chinese grave and oil palm farm.

Im not stopping my car because we are scare since there are no ppl around in a silence dark night and we are not sure the police are real or fake, meanwhile i press the accelerator pedal to 150 kph, after 20min of chasing, luckily there are mamak stall and i stop my car and get help from the ppl.

I explain everything to them, the uncle at the mamak stall there said "we will settle with the police", then we drove off.

If u were me, do u stop the car? i know by right we should stop but with the situation i choose not to stop till some safe place.

BEWARE of phone scam

Hi all,

This morning about 11am, i received a call from Hong Leong Bank (fake number-ladies speaking) asking me to clear up my credit card about rm7000. I tell her i don't even apply for the master gold card and tell her to verify the information of the credit card whether it was a mistake. She have my personal info such as NAME, IC NUM and PHONE, i said is correct and how about the home address? she replied a place at JB which is not correct due to my home address. Then she said someone using my personal info to apply for credit card and guild me how to solve the problem:
1) Call the Bank Negara Malaysia and make a report, get the report no and send back to them. I ask them what is the number of BNM, she said she will transfer my line to them.
2) After she transfer me to BNM, a guy pick up the phone, he told me that this call will be recorded for their investigation for crime and asking me to provide the information of my atm card, online banking, credit card currently in use. I am wondering is this a cheat, then i ask him how do i know this is a real call form Bank Negara Malaysia, he give me the TM line num 1300 to ask for the number he call me whether is a real num from BNM and tell me not to disconect the call because it is currently in recording, i use my other phone to call 1300 TM to verify the number, TM operator said this num is calling from BNM. So i have no worries to tell him my others bank info. He said due to the investigation, he want me to activate something call "SYSTEM PERJANJIAN PENGAWALAN" for all the bank i have applied for atm, online banking and credit card. I said how since i have so many atm card bank, he said no worries, he will transfer me to some department in charge of this.
3)Third call transfer(same number as BNM), this time is a ladies voice, she asking me about which bank i have connect to. Suddenly she asking me about my online banking userid and password, i said why u need this kind of info since it is a secret personal thing, she convince me that she need this for further the report investigation, i reply if i have some loses of $ to my account then how, she said previously the 2nd transfer guy already explain something about insurance is applying to this, if i have some loses then the insurance company will pay for all the loses.
4)Oh my GOD i trusted her after being convince. Right just after i say out my userid and password....my mind just clear to inform me is a scam, i been cheated, i straight cut off the conversation and call to maybank which i gave my online banking userid/pass to terminate the service. Then i call back to the number they call me, is a real num which connected to BNM, the bank operator said is a scam, some cheating syndicate use some software to make a fake call from BNM, so when i see my phone, the number is same as their num in BNM.

Luckily i went to bank just now to check my balance inside my account, no losses to my $. I need to make police report later to make sure i don't face any cyber crime in the future since they have my personal info. End Story. /ktard, please beware of this, just want to share out my experience so no /k been cheated in future...thanks

Moral of my story- NEVER EVER PROVIDE YOUR BANK USERNAM/PASSWORD TO ANYONE EVEN THE BANK OR POLICE, THEY HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO DO THAT.

hi all,

I share my experience here, i found that gals housemate is more hard to stay together than guys housemate

I moved in to a condominium in Melati Utama last 3 month, and yesterday we have a house meeting for the first time because 2 b**** housemate want to complain something. The things that they complaining to me

1) The refrigerator prob,
b**** leader - "the refrigerator full of your stuff, u buy so much of fruit use for praying arrr?"
Honestly i just use 30% of it only, the other stuff is her friend things which is the other b**** food/vege/etc.
They will also take my stuff inside the freeze and put it at the bottom because they want to put their things, the next days all the meet spoil. So selfish, they tot they own the refrigerator.

2) The sink hole in the toilet,
b**** leader - "u have a serious hair loss arrr?, u can see the sink hole, is full of your hair, my hair is brown color so is not my hair, please pick it up, everytime i pick up"
I am wondering, they also wash their hair everyday, they don't have any hair fall and only 1 or 2 times i saw her pick up the hair at the sink hole, almost everytime i will pick it up, just this few days i dint pick up.

3) Kitchen,
b**** leader - "please mop the floor everytime u cook haa? "
Me - "i had mop just now"
b**** - "i just snap the picture of the floor that u had mop, see still dirty"
Just a few slices of hair on the floor, instead they don't even bother to mop floor after cook. All the time i did.

4) Clothes Rack in Corridor
b**** leader - "please don't take our cloth outside the corridor inside the living room clothes rack, i need to wash it twice because the cloths is smelly already"
Me - Ur cloths already been stop dropping water, i just wash my cloth is still dropping water so i put ur cloth properly inside the living room rack.
Their cloths is not even wash properly, before i hang inside already been smelly.

This all are the problem that they complaining, i also lazy to communicate with those B****. Just walk away like a bos.

Hi anyone,

My gigawork G500 having some problem, when i switch it ON the main power socket, there are red light on the remote which is in stand by mode, when i press the power button on the remote to ON the speaker, the POWER will AUTOMATICALLY SHUTDOWN right after i press the button.

I need to OFF the main power socket and ON it back, then it will appeared the red light standby mode again on the remote, if i plug in the head phone in to the remote, then i press ON the power on the remote, then is fine...the speaker will work in the ear phone...i think there are some faulty with the subwoofer...

Anyone encounter this problem??

Can suggest me where can i repair my speaker??

Currently i using on board sound, just wan to knw whether have big different or nt if im buying a creative X-fi Titanium sound card (purpose for movie, music and gaming)

Coz nowadays ppl say on board sound is not much different compare to few hundred ringgit sound card...

Kindly advice me, is it worth to buy a sound card for my current speaker set (Gigaworks G500 5.1- just bought it 2nd hand)??
