My objective is to merge the middle room and the small room into a single room. Thus, I intend to have the wall between these two rooms demolished. Would like to know how much does tearing down a wall cost?

My case generally went like this. In 2009, I successfully secured a housing loan (Super Easi 123 Home Loan) from EON Bank to finance a second hand house that I wish to purchase. However due to some complications, the process was dragged until December 2010 when everything was finally settled and my lawyer issued the advice for the bank to release the redemption sum. Of course by December 2010, the letter of offer which was signed in 2009 had already expired. According to the officer in charge at the branch, the head office`s approval is needed to reinstate the offer. Ok, so I`ve waited for more than two months already and the case is still pending. According to the officer I`m dealing with, it is uncertain as to how long the process will take. And no matter how many times I call to enquire, I am given all sorts of excuses.

Anyone had experiences similar mine before?

Exactly as stated in the "Topic Description". So after I`ve submitted my application for the loan, and the loan has been approved and all prerequisites have been met, how is the money paid to the vendor. Is the money paid directly to the vendor? Or is it transfered to the buyer first, and the buyer then pays the vendor?

How to pay for a saman?

Last night i received a saman for ignoring the red light. Was just thinking of getting home since it`s already so late, but kena tangkap polis. Since this is the first time i received a saman, how do i go abt settling it. Where do i pay for the saman and how make an appeal? Can`t i just go to any police station? And on the saman it said something abt appearing at court on a certain date....wat does it mean?

Quality of streamyx service in Puchong jaya

I just moved to Puchong Jaya at the beginning of this month. Living near Sri Tanjung apartment. I find that the internet connection here is terrible!!!

On weekdays, I mostly go online at about 9pm after i get home from work. The connection is that bad to the point that i can`t sign into MSN messenger at all. And when i do successfully sign in occasionally, i get disconnected in about 1 minute later.

The strange thing that puzzles me is that in the day time (i.e during working hours on weekdays) the line if fine. I can surf, chat, download movies etc. However, the connection turns sluggish from about 6pm onwards way into the night.

And by the way, the connection is also fine through out the day during the weekends (saturday and sunday). Really wonder why it is like this

Anyone from Puchong Jaya facing the same problem? Also, are ther other broadband alternatives in puchong Jaya?

I have implemented a simple remoting application. Nex, what i would like to know is that if ther is anyway to know where the remote requests ar coming from on the server. Mayb like get the IP address of the remote client. Can it be done?

preventing console application from closing

when we run a console application created in C#, it will run in the command prompt an close immediately once the application finishes and you will not be able to see any of the output, rite? So how can we keep the application open besides using System.Console.Read ( ) or anything similar?

Is it possible to just keep the command prompt opened like a windows form application and ready to receive mor input?

Restarting an ASP.NET Application

Calculating the "sizes" of strings in Jscript

Let me try to explain my problem. For those who know .NET, ther is a method called MeasureString from the Graphics class that let`s u measure the amount of space that the string takes up depending on the font type, font size etc used.

Is ther something similar in Jscript which can be used to determine the size of a string?

Displaying images from the local machine

Let`s say in my web page i have a tag like this

this will mean that when the user clicks pic.gif, it wil change to image.gif from www.somewebsite.com

Now let`s say i change it to something like this

As u can see, the new picture is now from the local machine. I tried this. It does not work. How come i cannot change the image to a picture from the local machine. More importantly, Is this even possible to do this at all?

Oh btw, if u do something like this,

Converting between number bases in C#

Does the .NET framework provide any way to convert between number bases? Let`s say from decimal to hex. I`ve tried searching MSDN. Can`t find anything ther. Guess i have to write my own code for that...
