HIMEDIA HD900B - A good choice?

Hi guys ..
Thinking of changing my WDTV (1st Gen) since there are quite a lot of MKVs that i cant play nowadays, and WD doesnt seems to be releasing any new firmware for this :-(

Currently, i am eyeing on the Himedia HD900B; and on paper it looks pretty impressive, nice exterior, can support internal HDD, VFD and off course it can support android which is an additional plus point.

But i do have some concern, as i am quite worried about the future support. Do you know if Himedia is consistently releasing firmware upgrade even for their older models? Just worried that it will be like WDTV again :-(

Any thoughts? Anybody used this before? And any good or bad experience to share?

Need Help - Speaker Power Handling

Hi all ...
A quick question .. might be a dump question .. hope u all dun mind ...

If my speaker is stating that the max power handling is 100w, Nominal impedance = 8ohm, can i use an amplifier that is having 125W per channel to drive this? Since the power delivered by the amp is higher than the power the speaker can handle, will it damage the speaker?
