Uniquely Malaysian Chinese and Indian dishes

Hello guys,

Looking for some education on Malaysian cuisine (I'm not Malaysian).

I'm interested to know the dishes which are uniquely Malaysian, the dishes which came from the Chinese and Indians of Malaysia and are not found in China or India at all.

As I understand it, Char Kway Teow is unique to the Chinese in Malaysia, and no such thing exists in China or any of its territories. The same can be said for Mee Goreng Mamak which is of Indian Malaysian origin. Are there anymore? Oh yea, I know Bak Ku Teh is uniquely Chinese Malaysian, too.

Thanks guys.

How to remove Google Custom Search engine?

Hello Tech Support guys,

Anyone know about Google Custom Search? Out of nowhere Google Custom Search has become my search engine rather than the regular Google Search. I don't know how it happened as I didn't change it, in fact, even if I wanted to change it I wouldn't even know how. Could it be down to some kind of virus?

I want my old Google Search back as it gives me the options for images, maps, videos etc, and the search results are more vast.

Thanks.

Need help with a Skype/Webcam interview

Hey guys,

I'm in need of a huge favour from someone!

I might be having a Skype/Webcam interview sometime next week..nothing confirmed yet. However, my laptop sucks, the cam decided to die a few weeks ago and on top of that I don't have a mic.

I'm looking for someone who would let me use their computer/laptop for 1 hour max, I will pay you.

I only ask that it has a decent camera and mic, and I would need to do the interview in a quiet place, so no Starbucks, please. I know this is quite a lot to ask.

I am in KL/PJ, can get around anywhere.

Thanks

any other ideas would be much appreciated, too

Levis VS Lee Jeans

I'm after a pair of solid black straight leg jeans. Normally I buy Levis 501, went into a Levis store yesterday and asked for 32W 30L, according to the sales girl there, Malaysia only stocks Levis jeans with a 34 leg, if you need shorter then you need to alter them in-store. Ridiculous in my opinion.

Anyway, are Lee jeans a good alternative? how do their straight leg jeans compare to 501s? are they durable? price? I know there's an outlet in 1utama but thought I'd get a few opinions first.

While I'm at it, how are Gap jeans, or anymore recommendations for straight leg solid black jeans. Thanks guys

Hyperhidrosis/Excessive sweating, supplements....

I sweat, a lot. Even through seemingly non-exertive activities. After a gym session. I'm literally soaked. I drink litres of water to replace the liquid I've lost but I was wondering what vitamins/minerals are lost through excessive sweating and how I should replace them. I know the body loses salts through sweat, anything else?

Thanks

About a month ago I fell ill and after it was all said and done I ended up losing about 5kg in weight. I'm back up to my normal weight now after being able to drink and eat again.

Strangely my upper body maintained most of its mass, however my legs shrunk down. Even my feet feel like they lost some mass.

Did a bit of googling and it seems this has happened to other folks as well, however I didn't find any answers or theories as to why this would happen.

any clues?
