i'm selling this used snooker table, it is not in a super pristine conditions...need to repair a bit before use. So in case you're looking for nice-looking new snooker table then maybe this isnt really the one for you. =)

Item(s) conditions: The item aesthetics isn't really in a good condition due to wear and tear like torn mat, and semi-detached pocket points. Some repair works are required like changing the mat, reattached the torn pocket points, and touch up of the legs...and then only it can still be used. Hence, we are selling it so others can make good of it and reuse. (and because we dont have time/effort to repair it) We can set up a day/date should you need to see the conditions live. It's in Shah Alam.

Reason for sale: We are clearing up the space of the house, too sayang to just throw. We were thinking someone out there might want it?

help! in need of a nice building

hello dear forumers
im not sure if this is the right thread to post this but i need a little help/suggestions from you guys

i'm an interior design student and im currently doing my final interior design project. i'm proposing a Museum of Firefighting for kids (suggested by the lecturer, cos all my previous proposals got rejected boohoo )
and now i need to find a suitable site/building for my project. i'm not that familiar with the kl area/roads so my last few trips for site-hunting ended up with being sesat (apparently the gps isnt that much of a help).

some of the preferable criterias for the building i've been looking for;
- stand alone building 2-storeys max (3storeys also can if the floor area is smaller)
- got it's own parking areas
- minimum 10,000-20,000sqft
- preferable within kl area (where most of the museums are; national museum, islamic art gallery etc) or pj's damansara or putrajaya (or wherever u think is okay)
- got other educational centers nearby (schools, museums, galleries) cos the main target users are for kids
- non-load bearing walls buildings
- will continue the list later. cant think of the rest now

for now, im thinking of tun abdul razak memorial but i think its too huge. (wont mind if the building got active functions in it, cos i only need the building. but the surrounding activities count) or a part of the putrajaya's bomba hq(but i prefer standalones) or the redsquare,persiaran capsquare but the surrounding activities seems to be unsuitable for an education center.

so if any of you guys know any, can suggest to me? (i'm going site-hunting again so i hope with your suggestions, at least i know where to start/to go)
can suggest me areas to search too cos then i can go there and check em out and again, at least i know where to head to

your help/suggestions means so much to me. thank you in advanced!

p/s sorry if the post seems impolite asking random people for helps. i did try finding them myself, just it'll be better if i have some guidance from the experts

suggestions for interior design thesis proposal

hello people,
im not sure if this is the right thread to post this but i kind of need some help here.
it's about my interior design thesis proposal, which i have to find an issue (current issues, or anything new to be proposed) and the solution for the issue.

as for example,
issue : baby dumping
solution/thesis title : what to design(interior) to minimalize baby dumping issues/ how to make this building to educate people not to make buang-able babies anymore etc

we are required to present 3 proposals next tuesday and i got rejected twice (as i myself think that what i've proposed isnt strong enough)...and some of the topics i'm interested, all taken already. so if any of you guys have any suggestions? i need your help...

some of the topics i've proposed and got rejected...(they're not the proper title tho, just the ideas of what im trying to propose)

mosque design - DOME structure, isnt necessary (proposed by a senior before)(and that was supposed to be architecture, not interior)
autism - practical designs for autism patients (proposing a new autism one stop centre; info centre, treatment class etc) (already in malaysia)
refugees - proposing a centre for refugees (to live, to train, to work something like that) got rejected because of this one debate on local beggars and im not that productive at that day to strengthen my points)
vespa - 'a vespa one stop centre' ...coz i havent seen any before. and a suggestion from a vespa owner himself a year ago..unfortunately, there's one at damansara already, just launched a month ago.
lcct - upgrading works (proposed by other guy)
and some others which are really stupid, malu to post it here

it can be anything good and new too.. doesnt have to be really 'too serious current issue' as obviously, they're all taken already. i'm thinking of designing some sort of automotive gallery. someone just suggested me to do ferrari one stop centre but i think it's not necessary or i just think there's one in malaysia already? anything fun to design people? i just need suggestions, that's all..
