We also provide music production services such as Personal Album for collection or as gift as well as all kinds of Professional Music Production Services. Music Instruments are also available for sale at our center.
学院简介
<Serene Music音樂學院> 是馬來西亞第一所培訓獨立音樂唱作人的音樂學院，我們將栽培學生們能夠掌握一手包辦一張唱片的製作。从而提拔更多优秀的音乐份子, 让他们有机会接触音乐的领域。我们很忠诚的把一切音乐的知识及概念传授于学生, 让对音乐有兴趣及热诚的年青人塑造到自己的一套风格及理念, 好好的发挥自己的才能。我们相信, 热诚在音乐胜于一切！此外，我們也提供各种音乐制作的服务, 包括 <个人音乐专辑配套> 及 <专业音乐制作> 還有銷售各種 <樂器與音樂器材>。

本学院开办至今，要感谢所有支持 SERENE MUSIC 的音乐人,当中包括院长 (Serene 詹雪琳) 及学院的顾问老师 (管启源老师)。当然少不了我们的合作伙伴及媒体朋友们。因为你们,也制造了许多机会让我们的学生可以得到认证及实践的实习经验。

在 2009 年,本学院成功的开发了学生对音乐的思维: “做自己音乐的代言人”。以人人都可以拥有一张 DIY 专辑的出发点,鼓励各界人士努力学习音乐,勇敢发表自己的创作。本学院开发至今培训了数位艺人/音乐人,当中包括 Astro 创作比赛冠军 Kok, 本地新晋舞蹈组合V, 微微, 谢婉婷, 黄俊源, 温胜光，Ellisan 等。此外, 我们和许多不同的媒体和音乐公司做出密切的配合, 成为我们学院生的实习管道。当中包括3C D数位杂志, Public Info, 台湾华纳, Hua Xuen 唱片行, 无比音乐, Abstrax Studio, Roland Asia Pacific, PRISM, 大马艺人公会等学院工作坊。

Serene Music is the first music academy that cultivates DIY singer-songwriter in Malaysia, we teach students on how to produce an album all on their own. We encourage music lovers taking up the challenge to produce themselves a personal music album. This starting point can definitely allows more musicians to be aware of their abilities; make use of the gifted talents as to show their passion for music. In year 2010, Serene Music was included in the Google Most Popular Contemporary Music Academy in Malaysia, which has obtained tremendous compliments from music industry and media parties.

Practical Learning Method, Be Your Own Music Ambassador

The academy principle, Serene Cheam, who invented series of course programs with her 7 years of real life experience, reminding students not to dream to become an artiste, but explore one’s own music talents and become his personal music ambassador. Besides, she also allows students produce music with the right attitude in music industry, change the passion into business opportunity. Our academy organizes music seminars and workshops very oftenly, which inviting singers and musicians to share the current situation of music industry, working experience etc, students would be ones who benefited the most.

Sufficient Facilities

Our academy is equipped with sufficient facilities such as stage, recording studio, computer workstation. Each student is entitled to have a computer during classes, so that students may fully utilize their class time. On top of that, the musical performances that academy organizes building the students closer relationship and partnership, inventing team work spirit, giving students plenty of opportunities in exerting their talents.

Japan’s Teach By Ear Teaching Method, Allowing You to Learn Music Without Musical Background

Our course is well-designed with Japan’s teaching method that train students’ hearing, specially for those who have zero music background to attend. 80% of the songs that you are listening now produced by computer music arranging or composition. You, too, are entitled the opportunities to learn the latest computer music arranging and incidental music courses. We recommend international standard computer music arranging software such as Sonar, Cubase, Reason etc, every one is now able to own a full set facility of home recording studio.

Awesome Teaching Experience

All our teachers are hired under thorough selection and considerations, intensive training and cultivation. All teachers are musicians who come from music industry, having great real life experience. This is a golden opportunity for students to interact with musicians directly, absorbing their experience in order to understand the current condition of music industry and career opportunity. This allows students to obtain great job opportunity, too. Our academy’s graduation exam is to go through practical performance and comment. Examiners are well known personnel from business industry and singers or musicians with professional standard. Besides the actual certificate, constructive comments are the only way to motivate students preparing themselves before entering music industry.

The Current Situation

This technical course costs only reasonable fees, helping students in saving money while focusing in their music career. On top of that, students may spend the saved money in setting up a workstation at home; even operate their own music studio after graduation.By completing the course in a short period of time, students may then throw themselves into music industry, taking up the new challenge of their life.

实践的学习方式, 做自己的音乐代言人
院长Serene詹雪琳，以在乐坛7年实际经验开发的系列课程，让学生不要空想成为艺人，而是凭着自己的音乐知识发掘自己的音乐才华“做自己音乐的代言人”。让学生在音乐的领域上拥有正确的态度做音乐，把兴趣化为商机。学院时常举办音乐讲座，邀请歌手及音乐人分享乐坛趋势、工作经验等，让学生受益不浅。

完善的设备
学院拥有充足的设备，如表演厅、练习室、录音室、电脑音乐工作室、歌唱音响设备等。上课则是以“一人一台电脑”的方式进行。让每位学生从分利用上课时间学习。除此，学院时常举办音乐演奏会，让学生们可以互相认识及配合，促进团队合作的精神。同时让学生有机会在舞台上发挥其才华。

日本听觉教学方式,让你有无音乐基础皆可学习音乐
我们的课程经过精心的设计,以日本教学法训练学生的听觉,让完全没有音乐基础的学生也能加入。現在，您聽到的音樂有百分之八十以上均為電腦編曲或創作所生產，您將有機會學習到最新的電腦編曲與配樂課程。我們引進Sonar,Cubase,Reason等最新國際級電音編曲系統，讓每人可以擁有一套專屬的‘家中錄音室’設備，盡情學習!

丰厚的师资经验
本院聘用的老师们都经过严格的赛选,同时经过训练及栽培。老师们都是现今乐坛上拥有丰富和实际经验的音乐人。学生直接接触音乐人，索取他人的的经验以理解乐坛的趋势以及工作管道。这将让学生有良好的就业机会。本院的学生毕业考试，都必须经过实践的表演及讲评。讲评老师们都是商业界出名及拥有专业水准的歌手和音乐人。除了正式的文凭，实际的讲评才能让学生好好准备自己进入音乐行业。

现实考虑情况
实际的课程，实惠的学费，学生不必付昂贵的大学课程也一样能兼顾乐坛的工作。不必负担大学的学费，并把多余的金钱用于设置自己的家中录音室，也可在毕业后开办自己的录音室。此外,学生只需在短期内完成课程,就可以正式投身于乐坛,开始生命中新的挑战。此外，学院也用供应奖学金，让有天分而处于家境欠佳的学生可以得到公平的学习机会。

实习机会
学院时常安排实习的机会，让学生体验工作的环境及学习面对人际。实习的地点包括录音室、唱片公司、民歌餐厅、艺人经纪公司等。
