Football Strategies & Tactics

Anybody here with coaching / managerial experience to share some input on football strategies & tactics?

I once had a glance thru Jose Mourinho's biography at the bookstore some months back, and was very interested when he talked about strategies during games. About how an opposition manager once sent in a speedy winger during a game, and JM countered by doing the same, so that the winger would have to track back and defend the same flanks, thus reducing his effectiveness!

I'd like to learn how different formations can effect the play of a team, 4-4-2 vs 4-5-1? Why and when do teams use them? How does it change depending on the type of players that a team has? How do coaches even know what to employ?

I'm very interested in learning the finer points of the game, which I believe will help us look at football differently rather than just paying attention to scoring goals. Then, we'd have more appreciation of the game, even if it ends 0-0!

Can't access website from non-TM connection?

Hi all,

One of our client is complaining that they cannot access their website / webmail from any non-TM internet connections. This includes Jaring & other external Internet providers. Seems like they can only get to the website if connected via Streamyx or TM dial-up.

FYI, the websites are hosted at the TM datacenter in Cyberjaya. Has this got anything to do with it?

What's up with this, and how do we fix the problem?
Local banks to cash in USD cheques

Need feedback from anyone here who's managed to bank in their AdSense / etc cheques issued by US companies, in USD. I've made small amounts online and received the cheques, something like USD100++, USD60++.

My local banks in Alliance and Std Chtd have refused to cash them in for me - saying that the bank charges incurred will basically leave me with nothing! So just want some advise on the other banks, and what are their charges like.

Reliable Web / E-mail Hosting

I've been recommending some 20 or so of my clients to host their web & emails in local hosting companies. Usually the data center is in MyLOCA Cyberjaya.

But there's been persistent problems - network failures, server downtimes, etc... enough troubles that I am seriously considering hosting overseas. Can anyone recommend me to a reliable one? Something much more stable, like GMail or Yahoo that never seems to be down.

Yahoo provides hosting services - anyone had any experience with them?

Streamyx dies after half an hour

Hey guys, I've a tricky issue with my home Streamyx in USJ.

The connection is fine for about half an hour or so - and after that it just dies. It doesn't disconnect, or show any error messages - it just behaves as if I am not connected to the Internet. I can't ping anything, or visit any websites.

There are no changes to all the 3 lights on the modem - they're still on (no blinking). Even the connection status doesn't change.

Trying to disconnect and reconnecting doesn't work - to get online again I'd have to shut off the modem for a few seconds and reconnect again.

It usually happens after about 30-45 minutes of Internet usage.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
