Transfer Steam/Origin/Uplay Games

Salam sejahtera & salam 1 Malaysia,

Im here to share my experience on transferring STEAM, ORIGIN, & UPLAY games.
I am sure PC gamers know that nowadays games took up 20GB to 50GB of space.
But what happen when u format your OS or for some reason your PC just went kaput.
Actually you can google this, but im sharing this anyway, i thought this could be helpful in some way.
If any of you have an input or two,kindly reply.

So i decided to format my computer few days back,from windows 7 to windows 8.1.
I have Battlefield 4 and titanfall on Origin, and titanfall took up to 50GB of space!,
watch dogs on uplay and of course some Steam games.
Kindly check your Steam/Origin/uplay settings for the folder in which your games are install.
If u are formatting your PC, then make sure your games are not on the C: drive.

STEAM GAMES.

This is the easiest one. The reason is that it auto detects the game.
After you format your PC, do a fresh Steam install.
Go to the settings, and click ADD another library, choose the folder in which
your older steam games are located, and voila!. It does all the work for you.
No need to download all your steam games.

ORIGIN GAMES.

On the default setting, your origin games are installed in ORIGIN GAMES folder.
As always backup this before format.
After u have formatted your PC, do a fresh install of Origin client.
Then copy the games from the older ORIGIN GAMES folder to a new ORIGIN GAMES one,
(check the setting!)
Now, the games are still listed as DOWNLOAD on your origin.
Dont panic, just click download, and it will be quick.
If there is a popup box where it stated READY TO INSTALL, just click thatl.
It DOES NOT download the game fully, so dont worry.
It took only a little time, maybe just a little update.

UPLAY GAMES

Unfortunately, after googling some guides and reading FAQs and forums,
this one I FAILED to transfer.
Some of them reported that you need to download like 20MB of the game then
transfer the game to the new download folder.
I tried it, andddddddd.... it DOES NOT work.
Therefore i need to download Watch Dogs again.
Luckily i only have watch dogs on uplay.
If any of you knows a way to do this on Uplay,
kindly share with us.

PC throttling when turned on

Hey guys. Need some help here.

I have a phenom2 955 be, gigabyte 870a ud3 mobo, asus HD 5850, 8gb ram.
Over the past few weeks, it's been throttling when I turn on the PC.
Usually it took a minute or two until the throttling stop and boot itself normally.
Now it took forever.
I googled and at first it pointed towards BAD CAPS.
I then take a look at the symptom.
I'm no expert, but I think the mobo is fine. Maybe I missed a spot I dunno.
Took a closer look, the throttling seems to came from the graphic card,asus 5850.
Does this mean the gpu that has bad caps?
Know any shop near damansara or ttdi I can send it to?
Or is upgrade the best option.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Hey guys,

I just graduated with a degree.
I'm thinking of furthering my studies in the UK probably next year taking MBA.
So as i was browsing all these uni, i saw that these uni have 'advisors' here in Malaysia.
They contended that they do all the bookings,applications,visas, place to stay and what not.
For example http://nazza.com.my/home.html and http://www.emsmc.com/ caught my eyes.

So my question is are they good at what they do?
Should i trust them?
What's in it for them?
Any advice before i approach them?
Should i apply the uni first and then ask for their help?

I'm kinda new to this so i really need some help.
Any input from people who have done some deal with them would be much appreciated.

Greetings amphibians.

Its been a while since my last post here.
Been busy i guess.

Just want to share a video taken by me with a D7000 + 60mm D lens.
This is the first few dives so im using AF.
You can see that there is a bit of focus hunting.
But now i've changed it to Mf and been loving it ever since.
Perfect for macros.

To those who dont know,
the different between muck diving and divesite diving is that in muck,
u just go to the sandy area, for example in front of the beach. whereas in
normal divesite dive there is corals and what not.

So please watch it (try it in HD) and c&c are most welcome.
