LPPSA to Bank Loan

I'm in a dilemma. I'm 31 years old, a government servant. I bought a condo (will be completed probably this May 2023) under LPPSA loan. However, I'm planning to resign soon. I do have another source of income which I've been working on for about 3 years. Hence, no worries. Now I'm not sure if I should switch to bank loan or stay with my current LPPSA. LPPSA came out with a statement last year saying that if we leave government service, we can still continue with the loan, but it depends on our years of service. In my case, I can continue for 3 years with 4% interest and then it will switch to 6.5% after that. I've been thinking about it for quite some time, still can't decide. Need some guidance on this please. Thank you!

I just graduated last year (B.Ed TESL).
I passed my SPP interview.
Currently waiting for my posting, which is rumoured to be in April.
However, now I don't really feel like accepting the offer.
YES! I understand that people say that government job is like 'mangkuk emas', but I do not think so.

For DG41, my starting salary would be about RM2800-RM3000.
I would need RM1000 for my car loan + fuel.
RM1000 for rental + food
RM500 for insurance + utilities
I almost left with nothing!

My plan is to be part time tutor in my hometown (Penang).
I have asked around and I found out that tuition centers pay 80% for the teacher.
If I have at least 20 students in each class (form 1, form 2 & form 3), I would be able to earn RM4800!!
Furthermore, I don't have to work for such long hours!

Advice please

Hyundai i10 vs Perodua Myvi

Hi, I am a fresh graduate. Currently only earning about 1.6K. I would like to get my first car. I couldn't decide between

(i) Hyundai i10
(ii) Perodua Myvi

The reason I would consider Hyundai i10 is because I felt that foreign car would be better than Malaysian car.

My concerns/questions:
(i) I heard that for Hyundai i10, the 1.25 Kappa is better and the safety features of Hyundai i10 are better as compared to Perodua Myvi. Is it true??
(ii) Based on my salary, I hope to get full loan. Is it possible? Or maybe 2% down payment? I do not have anyone who can be my guarantor...
(iii) Space comparison between 2 cars
(iii) Performance comparison of these cars

Ignoring my financial situation, which car is better??

Shampoo

For those who are concern about their health, especially their HAIR, please come and join along with me here!!!!

I have been using Rejoice shampoo for many years and I find that my hair is very dry and unhealthy. I'm not saying that this shampoo is not good. I admit that I am not using any other hair care product after shampooing my hair, for example conditioner, serum, oil, etc. Hence, I wanted to change to other brands and see how it works. While conducting research on the internet, I found out that many shampoos actually contains many hazardous ingredients that might be the reason for the dry and unhealthy hair and some is even carcinogenic!!!

Hence, I would like to share the ingredients which is found in the shampoo I'm currently using and some explanation about the chemical and also some important facts about some of the chemicals.

I need the the help from everyone out there to spend some time, go to your bathroom and grab your shampoo, conditioner, mask, serum, etc. Share with us the ingredients found in it.

Thank you!!!

What does it mean?

I'm very confused now!!! Really need help!! My head is about to burst now......

There's a guy at the place where I'm studying.. This thing happened quite recently....
There's a series of event:
1 - I went for a show, I was just an audience, while he is something like the person in charge for that event. There was a group of guys who were sitting behind of me, while there are nobody who are sitting beside me. So,these guys just put their hands on the hand of the chair and keep on shaking the chair and making noise. I just ignored them. But he came and informed some people there to tell them not to do so. He was also walking around me.. appearing in front of me all the time during the show. I did not thought of anything at that moment, just felt that all was normal.

2 - The second day, I met him again during lunch. I was sitting together with my friends chit chatting. And then he came at sat at a position where he will be able to look at me.. then he shifted his position to another position where he can see me even better. I star to notice me only when my friends begin to tease me, saying that he wants to see me.

3 - Then, after having my lunch, I went to an event which is going on then. He was also there.... I just try to be normal, don't want to be affected by what my friends have said. Then I was about to leave, my friend told me that he was looking at me... keep on looking at me!!! He didn;t even realize that my friend was looking at him.

4 - then, the next day, I saw him again. He was normal... As far as I know, he didn't even looked at me......

5 - then, for the pass few days, I kept bumping into him several times... somethings he looked at me and smile, but sometimes he didn;t even bother... Don't know whether he realise that I was there or not...

6 - Then, I went for an event, he performed. I kept on looking at him during his performance... actually admiring him...
For the first performance, he was normal... I was quite sad.....
Then for the next performance, he looked at me!! Directly into my eyes!!! I thought it was just my imagination, but right after the performance, both of my friends said: " Did you realized??? He was looking at you!!!"

Those events happened for the pass few weeks.....
But, I have not spoken to him before... I don't even know whether he has a girlfriend or not....

Please...
Sony Xperia TX or Samsung Galaxy S3

I want to get my 1st smartphone, hopefully by this week. However, I'm still confused between Sony Xperia TX and Samsung Galaxy S3. I've searched and asked many of my friends about it. They say that performance wise S3 is better but feature and design wise TX is better. Many also say that for smartphone, Samsung is the best. I think the market price now is RM1599 for TX and RM1899 for S3, only about RM300 difference. I don't want to regret after buying the phone. So, I need advise please!!

About 14 inches.
My budget is around RM2,000.
Any recommendation???

Swelling

My mum have been complaining about the swell above her knee. It's swells only at one side of her legs, not both the legs. My dad took her to the clinic, but even the doctor was not sure what is the cause of the swelling. Then my mum told that she had been sitting in the bathroom for about 2-3 hours washing the cloths daily. Then the doctor said it may be due to that factor. However, I knew many people who are elder than my mum, who are doing the same thing for years, but they didn't have any problem.
The doctor did gave her some medicines, she has been taking the medicines for almost one week, but her condition is still the same.
Anyone could help??

What kind job?

Hi,

I just got my STPM results few days a ago.
Now, the time has come for me to seriously decide about my future. Honestly, I do not have a specific ambition. Although since young I used to say that I want to become a doctor, but now, once I knew what is the job scope of a doctor, I don't think that is the right one. I am quite afraid to look at wounds.
I am a science stream student, studied biology and chemistry. I love biology more than chemistry!!

I wish to work in a hospital setting. I love to interact with people. I don't like to be closed in the lab, facing the microscope doing research.
I know that enjoying what you do is more important, but I hope to at least earn about RM3~4K.

So, are there anyone doing the job as what I've mentioned( work in a hospital setting, interact with people, earn about RM3~4K BUT not a doctor???)

Help me please!!

Thank you!

Maktab perguruan

Hi,
A friend of mine, who is currently in upper six, got the offer to go to maktab perguruan. She got the course Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi. Now she is very confused, whether to go or not. She suppose to be there tomorrow (11/7) but till today (10/7) she haven't decided yet. She is from Penang and she is offered the course in Johor.
Her ambition is to become a doctor. However, her mother(teacher) and her father encourage her to go for teacher's training because they say that a teacher will only have to work for half a day and the salary is quite good. Whereas, if she didn't get a good result in STPM, she may not get the doctor course.
By the way, I think that her result is good and she might be able to get 3.8 or 3.9 for her STPM.
My advise for her is to reject the offer and continue her STPM.
Are there any chances of her going to maktab perguruan after her STPM??
Anyone can help me out???

Need URGENT reply please......
Thank You!

Confused?

Hello everyone,
I’m Cheryl, currently in Form 6 and will be sitting for my STPM next year…
I’ve read the previous posts on Nutrition, Dietetics or even food science… But my problems are not solved yet…
Ok… so my situation is:
I love to become a Dietitian… But my parents and some of my relatives do not allow me to take this course because they think that this field of work is not famous and is not demanding in Malaysia… And I’ve met my school counselor… and she told me that if I’m really interested in this field then she advise me to go for Nutrition instead of Dietetics… The reason is the working opportunity for Nutritionist is more compared to a Dietitian in Malaysia. And one of my friends told me that her aunty is a graduated Nutritionist from a University but she is currently working in another field which is totally not related with her course…
This makes me even more scared to take that course… I’m afraid that I will not have a job after I’ve ended my course…
And so… my relatives advise me to go and study for Dentist since my result is good… But I’m totally not interested in that… I don’t wish to look at others teeth everyday!
They even advise me to become a teacher… Which I’m still considering about it now…
I wish to become a dietitian… But if that is not possible… I hope to work in a field which is related to Biology… since I love Biology so much now… But I’m currently quite struggling with my Chemistry…
So… I’ve given myself a few options:
1.	Dietitian
2.	Nutritionist
3.	Pharmacy (although I don’t really enjoy chemistry… But I think I will be able to handle it) ^^
4.	Teacher ( I’ll take Biochemistry)

And I hope that I could earn at least 3k in the future….

So… I have a few questions here to ask you guys, I really hope you guys could help me out :

1.	If you are in my situation, what will you do?? Which course will you choose?? Why??
2.	Will you go to a government Uni or a private Uni??? (if money is not a problem) Why??
3.	I heard that for government Uni… you will get a job of your course once you are graduate… Is it true??

I really hope that you guys could help me out…
I’m confused… I can’t focus on my studies now!!!
Please HELP me!!!
Thank You
