Any other modem that come with less annoying software? One that could set once and run in the background/taskbar. Why does it have to bug me every time I start up? Mobile Partner looks and works ugly too.

Clutch adjuster firewall cracked

Ok this is kind of a Proton rant but what the fu*k kind of quality materials do they use to make cars? It's a 2002 Wira, everything standard, today the clutch pedal got real stiff and shifting gears was tough so I checked the cable nothing wrong but the area where the adjuster sits had almost disintegrated.

Is this common?

Proton real rough idle/misfiring problem

Hi guys,

Ok, the car seems to be idling really bad when it's hot or actually pretty random.

I've changed:
-spark plugs
-plug cables
-coils
-new engine oil
-air filter
-cleaned throttle body
-cleaned MAF

When it happens, white smoke comes out the exhaust, and I've noticed the #4 cylinder is not firing by pulling the plug off, I've also noticed exhaust leaks from the exhaust manifold/gasket area and it was caused by a really loose bolt, tighten it and it seems the bad idling has merely disappeared since.

Could a leak at the extractor/gasket cause bad idling or is this a sign of internal problems?

My HU has an auxiliary jack, thought of using a FM modulator-like MP3 player but don't want to transmit the sound over radio frequency but just pass it to the auxiliary jack. How?

Ok, my default setup is like this (not my picture)

Head unit: Sony cdx-gt161s

Rear speaker: Stock factory clarion speaker

Front Speaker: stock 4" speaker at dashboard

1 is where my current speaker is at.

2 is where I want to put new speakers.

Is it as simple as removing the wires from the 4" dash speakers to the door panel? I plan to get rid of the 4" dash board speakers. Looking at the HU manual it shows front and rear only.

Am I doing this right?

Ok guys, the shitty speedometer started wobbling 2 years after the car was bought so yesterday I thought I'd try to fix it. The grinding sound went away now its wobbling mad, I believe I've lost the tiny ballbearing/magnet that was supposed to be in there some where.

So my question, is it's soul speed meter from the mechanically spinning meter alone? I plan to ditch the needle and get a digital Rev/Speed meter to replace it but I need to know if there's another sensor for it.

Anyone can recommend me the best budget component/rear speakers under RM200? I don't care if it's not branded or replica as long as it last the longest. I know the words best, last longer shouldn't be put in a sentence when replica is mentioned but I'm pretty sure there is the best replica out there!
