currently, im using a standard definition tv to play my ps3 without the hdmi cable, so im just wondering

how much would it cost for me to buy my own lcd , hd or plasma tv
my scope is basically any tv that can play ps3 games
what is the cheapest and most suitable brand?

and by any chance can i use a laptop screen with a hdmi port to play my ps3 ?

This is the thing, ive known this girl for a few months. We're in the same class in college.we talk and we hang out once in a while.
People seem to say that we have chemistry together,
but for some reason, i hate her.

Okay i decided to buy a ACER ASPIRE 4820TG

it comes with windows 7 home premium (windows 7 hp )

the browser ill be using is mozilla
ill be getting itunes as well
microsoft office 2007 for home and students

besides that i need some opinions

i need to know the overall best antivirus to buy ?

and also , what other software would you guys recommend for me

im a student , joining college next week
doing engineering for 5 years
moving to canada by next year

so in that time , i need to make sure my laptop is covered very well from viruses trojans and other problems that might come up

ok this is what happened

my dad got his hp wet its a nokia with 2 megapixel camera and with shiny aluminium casing
so now it stopped working

so now he wants to recover his contacts
i checked just now and saw he only has his telco companies contacts like hotline malaysia and stuff

so now im wondering

is there anyway for him to recover his contacts

his handphone also has a 2gb memory card but im not sure if the contacts are stored there

can nokia or maxis recover the numbers for him ?

Characteristics
good battery life , i.e can last 4 hours

a little gaming
ill only be playing football manager and company of heroes
since these games are quite old already , i expect them to run smoothly (<40fps) around mid-high setting

media
if possible got nice webcam and headset so can skype easily

assignments
im also looking for a nice keyboard , that way dont get tired or annoyed when typing assignments

light enough to carry around college (2-2.4kg)

i have no preference on screen size whether its 13 , 14 or 15 inches

im skeptical about the cpu (1.3Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 )
can it play company of heroes and football manager at a resolution higher than 1024 x 768 but less than its native resolution at high settings ?

i believe this is the best laptop for me

if possible your pros and cons about the laptops i mentioned

im looking for switchable graphics
my benchmark for good graphics is can play company of heroes and football manager and left for dead 2 at native resolution (medium or high at native or high at 1024 X 768 ) minimum frames should be 35 with big explosions and all the other possible loads you can think of while playing company of heroes
good webcam for skype
battery life around 4-5 hours will suffice ( so can do assignments or surf while waiting at the bus stop or library)
light enough to carry around in bag

in secondary school i took science stream

for my a levels im planning to take up accounting

Okay guys , i need an opinion

For JPA i applied for Engineering in the UK

during the interview , the person asked what would be your 2nd choice ?

I said i would do local

However , after thinking back

My results are not that bad (9A+ and 1 A )
even the interviewer said i was taking the safe option

So now im wondering if i do get local

Would you think its possible to appeal and get a better choice

I feel terrible right now , knowing what i said was not the best choice for me

oh and btw

does anyone know the number of jpa scholars that do get sent to the uk ?

and if we do get the scholarship , where do the students taking enginnering to the uk go and what pre-u course do they take ?

I've known this girl for a short time . i didnt know her very well . so i went out with her and i guess she didnt like me . she said she wanted me as a friend in actual truth . she was interested in this other guy. so this other guy didnt like her either .

So now , she's going through the hate / love thing . she wants to leave , but she isnt out the door just yet . in other words she still has feelings for the guy , but the guy doesnt want her.

I have let her go personally , but then i have this feeling that i should help her get out of this mess .its probably because before meeting her im close to her friends which means that im still her friend in a way

i knew this girl for 4 months
we texted , then called , then went out
i made a bad first impression , i mean i said i loved her and stuff
which was too early

i heard from her friend that she liked me and the feeling was mutual

its been a few weeks since any contact was made.
