Smartphone wont get detected by PC through USB

Smartphone wont get detected by PC through USB

Computer did not even make any sound indicating the smartphone has been plugin.
Weird even the device manger did not even showing any changes indicating that the smartphone had been plugin.
Also it is used to function without any driver and without any problem before.
Just recently when I want to do something with the smartphone requiring USB connection to computer only to find out this problem.
Smartphone USB type: micro-usb.
Changing to new USB data cable seem does not make any different.
All the USB data cable seem working with other device as the computer show indication the device has been plugin.
Other device such as ext hard drive, pendrive can used normally on the computer except this smartphone.

Computer is HP 15-ab238tx laptop running Windows 10 Pro 12GB RAM 1TB HDD. But i dont think computer is the problem.

The smartphone is Lenovo Vibe P1 2GB 32GB P1a42.
Other function still function normally on the smartphone except USB connection to computer.
Fast charging still working.
OTG still working. It still can detect OTG devices such pendrive plug into it. Can read the files on USB pendrive.
USB to computer not working. The phone will detect computer as "AC charging" instead of usual "USB charging".
Smartphone did not make any indication on notification select USB mode such as MTP, charging only of which it usually do. It just show charging.
Restart the phone dont do any charges.

Does anyone face this situation before?
What I want to know is, what is the possible culprit inside the smartphone? It is the mainboard/motherboard or maybe just the charging board?

Fail to receive China QQ SMS Verification code

Tencent QQ is China version of MSN/Skype messenger. I sometime use it to chat with China seller.
Without the verification code being received and then verified, I cannot use their QQ安全中心(for instant future verification without using SMS code) and QQ messenger on android phone.

Hi, I am hotlink user for number 017-4815XXX and 017-5401XXX.

I have ask this question before on lowyat link here but no answer.

Recently for month I can't receive any SMS security verification code from Tencent QQ China, it used to work before.
For QQ, there two ways to perform verification, first is by SMS code, the second one is by China IC card of which I will never have because I Malaysia Citizen not China Citizen.
The mobile number that I set QQ system is correct, +60 (Malaysia), 174815XXX as +60174815XXX
Tried to my second number +60 (Malaysia), 175401XXX as +60175401XXX also no use.

However, I can receive China Baidu SMS verification code without problem at all.
I use Baidu for online file storage.

QQ last time seem to sent from this number when working last time working on 26.5.2018: (861)065-7525
Baidu today seem sent from this number:67421

I tried to put the SIM card on another phone also cannot receive the SMS.
I also tried to contact the QQ support thru Wechat, they said that their system is normal, they said I should refer to my Telco in order to try solve this problem. Since, I have nowhere to ask, so I post the question here.

Now, I want to ask Hotlink why the QQ SMS code did not pass thru, does the number from QQ server have been block ?

Failed to Get SMS Verification Code from QQ

Help. Does anyone who have experience this problem with their QQ account?

I try to login the QQ for IM(chatting).

I am using maxis number.
I can login to this account but it ask for SMS verification that I set about one year ago. I can receive the verification number on my number when I first register.
But now the problem is that when it sent the verification number to my mobile number, I never receive the verification even after an hour or two.

See attachment, I ask the the QQ customer service thru wechat and got response. I followed their instruction, I managed to change the verification mobile number but before it can be changed QQ will sent verification code to new mobile number in order to verify, but same I still never receive the verification code after waiting for some time. Try with another mobile phone number still the same (not shown on attachment).

This what I receive from QQ thru wechat:

Trying to find Internal Antenna for HP 15-ab238tx

Hi all, I am trying to find the internal antenna for HP 15-ab238tx. This notebook was purchased at 2.1.2015 almost two years ago. Currently running on Windows 10 Pro. Occasionally, I will run Linux OS from ext hdd on this notebook.
I don't have any compliant about this notebook except its the way internal WLAN antenna was configured and installed. Only has one antenna instead of two antenna.
Because of this configuration, it sometime may cause some WLAN connectivity issue.
For example, after sometime of usage of WLAN, although it did not happen frequently, the WLAN connectivity may become unstable (no internet and unable to ping the router) then if I disconnect the wifi on the notebook and then try to connect it won't to connect. Disabling and re enable the wifi adapter on device manager may sometime help. Full restart of the notebook always will solve this problem but this is time wasting.

-When this problem happen, the notebook will sometime show very low wifi signal for that particular SSID, mostly one bar or two bar and notebook will complain Can't connect to this network.

- The other notebook that are nearby (Compaq Presario CQ40-504au running on Windows 10) and also my android phone (Lenovo Vibe P1 Android 6.0.1) seem still can ping the router and access internet as usual when this problem happen. Both are seem to be showing full bar signal strength of the wifi.

-On the Linux, this notebook internal wifi reception seem much more worse than when on Windows.

-So, when I came across the internet thru google search, it seem the fact that poor wifi reception was cause by single antenna, it suppose to have two antenna but it only have one. One of the supposedly on the right side of the display?? is connected to wifi card (AUX), (MAIN) on the wifi card was however was left unconnected.

So, I was currently now trying to find a dual antenna to be installed.

I don't the exact picture of the single antenna because I do not open the display cover to take picture of it.

Its part number seem to be 809008-001 according the HP service manual (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-15-ab200-notebook-pc-series/8499306/model/8876602/manuals).

I am planning to replace the internal antenna, where can I order it? I prefer new one if possible, antenna that are refurbish also is acceptable as long as there is no defect in function. Anyone can PM me or post here.

I already have external USB wifi adapter, just that I want to fix the internal antenna so to make the notebook much more convenient to use.

Normal CPU Operating Temperature for CQ40 AMD Unit

Hello, I just want to know the temperature for CPU when idle cause my CQ40-504au AMD is always somewhere 70-74 C and board 64-67 C when idle it is normal?

I need help on estimating the price for repairing notebook.

My notebook (CQ40-504AU) last two days cannot boot up. When power on, it power on but then does nothing, after about 6 seconds, cap lock and num lock led flash once then off for about 5 seconds then repeat until i power off. Until now it still cannot boot up.

According to (Blank Screen LED Error Codes) it seem that the cpu had failed.

How much is the cost for replacing with the new cpu?
If second hand then how much?

AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-75

Used this notebook for 2 years and half so it is obvious that the warranty has expired.

Does someone repair this notebook model at hp service centre? If so how much they charge?

I am preparing to send this notebook for repair and I need to know first the estimated cost.

Wrongly flashed TSST TS-L633M DVDRW drive firmware

Before the drive was accidenly flashed it function normally but after last time I have accidently open a DVD drive flashing program and flashed the dvd drive stated above and then the program restart the computer.

After restart, the computer still can see the drive but it cannot read or write any dvd and cd disc from it. Is the anyway that can make it into usable state again? I know this cause by wrong firmware flashed into the dvd drive rom memory.

I mean flash it with a new flash program? If so can somene give the link to that firmware? I dont want to replace the drive only because of firmware error. I search all over the internet but useless.

If I am not mistaken the firmware version before accidenly flashed it was something lke version 0020.

The samsungodd.com had firmware for it with version SC00, SC01 but incompatable with it. Other than version SC00, SC02 are welcome to post here.

Please someone reply as soon as possible. It is very important to me. thank you.
