CBU vs CKD

As topic shows, which car will u choose?
For example, 1 CBU unit n 1 CKD unit.
Both are different cars but price difference is about Rm500.
CBU has lower spec than the CKD but the CBU unit has better build quality( eg the materials, finishing and workmanship- no loose screw feeling).

Are u willing to tolerate with a lower spec for a CBU?

I try not to be too specific on the company n model of the car as there are a lot of different fanboys around.. ><

google chrome

I've been using firefox for quite some time.. but recently I tried google chrome and I'm quite satisfied with it...
I'm wondering is there any add on for chrome to download files from internet? Add-ons such as flashgot in firefox where u can use your own downloading software to download files, instead on the browser to download it... thx!!

Can't install kaspersky

The incompatible software is AVG 8....
I already uninstall the AVG.... but the kaspersky setup still ask me to uninstall it......
I also deleted all those file and folder that is under AVG, but it still cannot solve the problem... i tried to reinstall avg and uninstall it also.... but still cannot solve my problem le.....

Problem with usb port

my problem is stated as above... i can detect the pen drive, mouse, webcam.. but i don't know why can't detect external harddisk...i've tried on all the usb ports on my mobo... all cannot detect...
i'm sure is not the problem of the external harddisk because the external harddisk can be detected by other pc...
can anyone tell me whats the problem and how to solve it?? thx!!

using openSUSE 10.3
i didnt type any commands... just try to install the package...
but after i install and restart, it will boot at the terminal only.. asking my login and password
so how to start it???
btw, what is runlevel 5????????? it says that it is starting runlevel 5 wo....
what is that???

I'm using opensuse 10.3 now with kde environment....
from the help provided in the opensuse, it stated that my graphic card which is Geforce4 MX 440 can support the 3D desktop effect
i also go according the instruction there which ask me to change to Xgl instead of Xorg to get the effect
but after i change it, my desktop still the same... no cube like effect....
when i go to check YaST 2 Control Center, under hardware, i click graphic card and monitor, why it say that "Sax2 cannot offer the activation of 3D subsystem because your graphic card/ driver doesnt support 3D"???
can anyone tell me how to check which driver did i installed???

i googled for the nvidia driver and found this http://en.opensuse.org/NVIDIA
at 1st, i install the new nvidia graphic card.. after i finish installing, only i know that i choosed the wrong 1..
so i install the nvidia legacy card. i didnt remove the 1st 1 as i dont know how to remove it...
can it crash or any harm?? how to remove the 1st 1..
as i know, if i've installed the correct nvidia driver, a nvidia logo will pop up when i start opensuse right?? but i didnt see any logos....
can anyome help me???

cannot start ubuntu....

erm..... the problem is like this....
i was trying to change the theme on my ubuntu to make it more attractive....
so i went on to search.... then i came across some theme that said need something call gcompizthemer... then i go search for it..

i follow the instruction there but after i restart, i cannot start ubuntu... it say that ubuntu is running on low graphical mode n cannot detect my screen and graphic card... even if i press to continue o configure it also cannot...
it then return to a dos mode with root@ubuntu:~#
is there anywhere to fix it?? o reverse the thing that i've done??

HDD data recovery

The problem is like this... My friend have a old laptop... i dont know how he use till the adaptor burned..
now he cannot switch on the laptop... beside buying a new power adaptor, is there any method to get the data back??? cos his laptop is old 1... not sure can find the adaptor o not.... he is using a M-Life laptop...

if cannot open exe file, how to play games in linux??
o should i ask does anyone use linux to play games ???hehe....
i heard that there is a software called wine which is use to run windows program.... but i dunno how to use,....

ubuntu problem

i just install ubuntu into my pc....
whenever i install any package, it will have a error stating opensymbol, openoffice.dependancy....bla bla bla....something like that not really remember what was the real word... very long 1
i'm new to linux... can anyone tell me whats the problem n how to solve it???

i dont know which driver to download

erm... is there anyway to identify what motherboard model and other hardware like GC that i'm using??
my friend just format the pc... but he dont have the driver 4 his pc... so is there anyway of identify it so that he can download the driver... he dont know anything about pc n i'm staying far away... so cant go his pc there open the casing to c the driver...... any suggestions??

problem with windows live messenge with vista

The problem is like that...
when i log in to messenger, everything is ok...
but after like 5 to 10 mins, i cant sent msg liao... but i didnt show "msg cant delivered to all recipient". The msg will also show in the screen, but when i go to my friends pc(the 1 that i send msg to) i cant c my msg.... then i try to switch to other status, but i cant switch.. it will just show the same old status.. then if i nudge, the msg windows will shake, but it will not be delivered to my friend....
i need to sign out n in again to get it back to normal.. but after a few mins, the problem will come again...
i tried to reinstall but it still the same....
changed the compatibility mode to win xp, but also cant solve... anyone encountered this b4??
i hope u all can understand my explain...
is there anything i can do with the setting??? any help would b much appreciated.. Thx!!

After i install acbel power supply, n switch on the pc, got some kind of alarm sound came out from the speaker of the mobo.. then after few attempts, the computer finally boot... but it load the fail-safe setting for bios....
is there anything wrong or there is something is miss out during the installation of the power supply?

i'm not sure if it is asked in this forum b4...
if i use object dock n hide(not auto hide) the start menu, how can i get access to the taskbar thing such as the add/remove icon since the start menu is hidden...
