My initial plan was to find a job to at least earn a stable income for the first few years while developing and improving my passion so one day I could maybe open my own business. Also to have at least a bit of experience in the working world and to have abit of career advancement.

The thing is my degree in science doesn't really offer me much as most jobs are either lab based or sales. I did lab work back during my internship but it was really boring so I decided to give sales a go EVENTHOUGH I HAVE ZERO SALES SKILLS. I applied for the sales position and went for quite a number of interviews.

The recent interview with an MNC got me thinking whether I'm suitable as a sales rep. Failed to sell myself eventhough the interviewer gave me a second chance .He asked where do you see yourself here in a few years and said I don't seem to have that impression like I really want the job badly, didn't really know how to answer him.

To be honest, I never really did enjoy studying what I did but I just went through with it anyway because I could handle it. Now in the working world, it's only relevant to apply for something I studied.

Wondering should I take the road less taken and focus what I like to do, making it to a business. Risky because if it doesn't work out, I'll be stuck whereas my friends would already develop their career further.

Not many seems to do so even after having posters here and there, encouraging students to converse in english in campus.

Feel so alienated here but no matter, leaving soon anyway.

Just a thought actually, if all play along and start speaking more in english then it would be useful once you hit the working world, right?

So I've look around the net particularly bodybuilding.com forums. They suggest the no contact rule.

She's been noticing that I'm less friendly with her already and did ask why. I just brush it off saying that I'm busy or with a reasonable excuse

Is it childish to use this method? Just because she doesn't like you so you keep your distance. Well I personally find it a bit childish but I rather not be her friend. Its frustrating and heart aching.

I do think about her and feel disappointed cuz I thought doing the things that I did (refer previous post) would make her see me differently.
Is funny how when you want and try for something so hard you won't get it. And those who don't gets it.

You know like in those movies whereby the guy always sticking around the girl for so long knows her very well and all. But IT IS a stranger that a girl doesn't know at all who she will fall in love with. Bloody hell.

Why do we (especially guys) have to go through this painful experience of rejection and bitterness when it comes to love?

Changed so much past these 2 years both physically and mentally, hoping she would see me differently. I know I've been friendzoned, the signs are pretty obvious but I just can't seem to let go just yet. Says I'm good looking but when I ask her casually if she would date me, said we're just friends in joking manner.

I was really heartbroken when she recently introduced me to her new "friend". Still pondering why she chose him over me and why doesn't she sees me as more than just a friend.

To make matter worst, she's my classmate and every time I see her smiling while looking at her phone, I just feel so angry and bitter. Guess one of the reason is because I've invested quite a bit of time, emotion and supported her throughout these past 2 years and nothing paid off.

Right now, the best thing to do based on the online articles and post I've read is to keep her at a distance and not to give her any attention. It's pretty hard as she's my classmate and these sort of changes won't go unnoticed.

I really want to move on but I just can't find a solid reason to. Every time I see her in class, I've to put on a happy face just for the sake of not making things awkward.

Guys where can I volunteer myself? Anybody knows?

Everywhere I go, I see people working. Working day in day out, from legal to illegal jobs like prostitution. All having 1 goal in common, to survive or make more money.

Passion is no longer relevant. Is just wanting to make money. This obsession with money. Some make it, some don't.

The way I see it, the world is very polarized. Two extreme ends of the spectrum, one side poor one side rich.

Everything is money driven. Advancement made is all about increasing profit.

We choose courses to study that pays the most and those which are in demand. The things we learned aren't based on curiosity or interest ; is just based on I learn this because it is demand or I will get a high pay after I graduate.

Reality bites.

Anybody here is a member of Alex's Gym? Is it good? Called them just now to ask about the fees. RM430 for 3 months They have boxing there as well which interest me.

Never really socialize with girls before. Now I'm starting to be more sociable and to feel less awkward especially around girls.

Your advice and help is greatly appreciated.

Today a girl in my class said hello to me and started conversation. It was alright, just small talks, asking where your from, what do you and etc etc.

I guess probably she doesn't really mix well with other students because of the language barrier. So maybe she was kinda happy to talk to a eng-ed person like me

I'm scare eventually I'll run out of topic or things to talk about. How to prevent this?

I also don't make eye contact with most people I talk to. Especially girls. Is this something weird?

There isn't any love thing going on.

I'm just trying to be more sociable.
