I am job-hunting again after so many years and looking at some of the skill demands really blew my mind.
Saw one for preparing technical documentation with experience in business & financial sector, able to read & write code as well as software engineering experience for systems integration purposes. Then I look at the title was "Technical writer" for 4k salary. Apalanciao!!!
If I got my toes dipped in so many skilled sectors, I also won't settle for 4k lah. No wonder job market is cooked.

Was stuck in slow traffic crawl in SS2. Parked car beside me suddenly swings open his door.
Grab rider hits the door and his bike collapses into my car causing a dent.

I can't even claim damages from anybody. Car guy says wasn't him who hit me. Grab rider was injured and his bike greatly damaged.
My damage probably around rm300 for minor body work and polish. Just bad luck?

Advice on shock absorbers / spring

My Proton Saga coming on to 13 years old. I've never changed the shocks or springs.
I think it's about time I did. What brand/model should I consider for a comfortable ride?
Right now, I'm feeling every single bump in the road. Heck, run over a little stick also I feel it.

Choosing tires for Saga FL

Is there any calculation necessary if I want to use a bigger tire size for my car? Currently, I'm using the recommended stock size of 185/60R14. I want to fill out the wheel well a bit more but will bumping it up to 200/60R14 or 185/65R14 cause any problems? What's the maximum tire size a stock Saga FL 14" rim can take?

I have a 12 year old Saga FLX 1.6
I'm not sure if this is normal but the FC has been pretty poor. Usually around 7km/litre, about 210km for a 30litre full tank of city driving.
Is there any way to improve the FC or should I just give up on it?

Replace/fix and repaint Myvi bumper

Just few days ago my wife's 2018 Myvi bumped into a Civic that was driving in the opposite direction in a 1-way road. Anyway, the guy wanted to settle and we agreed on rm600.

The bumper is cracked on one side but I just want to know what are my options. Where would be a good place in SS2 to get it fixed/replaced?
It is worth getting replace or just tampal balik?

Recently changed a set of brake pads and costed me rm120 inclusive of workmanship. But I feel scammed cuz standard metallic brake pads costs only like rm30-50 on lazada. For rm100, I can get ceramic type.

But what's the difference between metallic and ceramic? Is getting ceramic pads worth it for regular driving?

Just wanna crowdsource some opinions from /k.

My household consists of my wife, 22month boy and 80 year old father. Out of the 4 bedrooms, I rent out one of them to bring in some extra income. Yesterday, on her way back from work, the tenant called to tell me she stayed overnight with a friend a few days ago who just tested positive for covid.

I told her she can come in to pick up some clothes but she would have to self-isolate somewhere else, at least 1 week and she can get tested. I do feel bad because she's from another state and has no family to help her. I recommended a few motels nearby that have cheap rates and at least a place to shower and grab a hot meal. This morning, out of concern, I messaged her to ask how she was getting along and I got an angry reply.

I'm just trying to protect my family, but was I the asshole?

Been driving my beast for 10 years now and decided to give it some fresh work. One of my project is changing the awful clicking sound when using the signal lights. When I test drive the latest Saga, it has a nice electronic chime sound instead of clicking. Where can I get a 3-pin flasher relay with that sound?
