hello everyone.

already posted a thread up in the classified properties section but I thought I'll get more help from here as well.
basically looking for a place to rent in Kuching as me and another girl are doing our medical elective in sarawak general hospital in august.
only need the place for a month and doubt we'll be using the place much other than for sleeping/bathing.

already tried looking around for a place but couldn't really find any.
(already contacted the people at wesberly. awaiting reply....)
anyone else has any suggestions? no preference over the type of property. just as long as it's closeby SGH and reasonably priced.

help would be greatly appreciated!
also, just wondering what are the rental rates there? (more expensive than subang?? i heard it was like rm800/month. i know near taylors it's only rm400-500 i think. my rates maybe old since i went to college ages ago.)

just wondering if anyone managed to get a loan from jpa under this scheme.

don't really understand if we really need to apply for an NOC (no objection certificate) as stated in the application form. i did some googling around and a website stated that NOC= SSLN (sijil sokongan luar negara). then i called JPA and the person there stated that NOC is given when we submit our documents to be certified in putrajaya. i'm not sure if she actually understood my question. any help here?

not sure if it's the correct board... but anyway,

this happened twice to my camera already.
i recharge the battery, insert it and tried to view previously taken photos stored in the xd card. works fine.
but after viewing one photo, all the photos will be listed as photo error (including the one i just viewed).
i reset the camera and after that, the photos all magically disappeared. it's like the xd card autoformatted itself.

what could be the problem? battery problem?

other than this, the camera functions just well. can take photos, store photos, etc etc.
