Some individuals should not have delete function for their own threads. It is prone to abuse. What if someone decides to put up a thread and 1st reply is like his/her blog entry? Then keeps deleting comments that doesn't favour him/her.

Suggestion, give this function to Elite thread starters instead of before 2010 IDs.

Can admin do something about this in the future? The advertisement is annoying when you move your mouse cursor then it expands.

The severity of this destruction is something that will vary greatly from person to person and (like I said in my post), will range from being crippled in hospital to not even requiring medication to manage the disease.

As far as the diseases go, they are nothing alike. The only place where they may converge in your argument (of you might die from a cold from either disease), comes into play with the treatment of SLE (and autoimmune diseases in general). If a person's SLE is severe enough to require medication, then the medication that they will be put on tend to be immunosuppressants (e.g. prednisone), which, yes suppresses the immune system (to stop it from attacking normal cells and tissue) which then leaves the patient more prone to infections. Even then, the suppression of the immune system is only in effect for as long as they are on their medication (unlike AIDS).

I don't normally get this annoyed about people posting on the Internet ('cause duh, it's the Internet) but really, next time you want to post about a disease, at least go and research it a bit before making sweeping statements.

SHAH ALAM (July 2, 2013): The federal government has agreed to Selangor acquiring all four water concessionaires in the state.

Mentri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he has received a letter from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak agreeing to the deal.

"Selangor is all set to bring the supply of water under its control before the end of the year," Abdul Khalid said.

While he did not disclose figures or terms of the agreement, the Pakatan government, since came into power in 2008, has been clamouring for water to come under the control of the state.

Abdul Khalid told Dr Abd Rani Osman (Meru-PAS) in the state assembly today: "The state and federal governments are working together in drafting the agreement in accordance with the Water Concessionaries Industry Act 2006.

"Under the Act, the federal government has the executive power over any water deal across the peninsular and federal territories."

The Selangor government cited incompetence on the part of the concessionaires as one of the reasons to acquire the companies.

Answering a supplementary question, Abdul Khalid said the state is ready to manage water supply and that a professional management team is already in place.

Najib, who is also Finance Minister, announced the second round of Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) for next year,
with the RM250 assistance to be extended to single unmarried individuals aged 21 and above and earning not more
than RM2,000 a month.

The prime minister also announced a one-off payment of RM1,000 to assist former members of the Malaysian armed
forces who have opted for early retirement or have served less than 21 years, a one-off rebate of RM200 for the
purchase of one 3G smartphone for youths aged between 21 to 30 years, as well as an additional one month bonus
for civil servants, which will be disbursed in two payments in December 2012 and January 2013. - Bernama
