Malaysia is rapidly heading towards an ageing society and there is a pressing need to provide for its senior citizens. According to data from the United Nations, as of 2016, Malaysians aged 60 and above comprise 9.5% of the population.

Do you think concept like Assisted Living/Independent Living works in Malaysia context? I visited Rei Seraya gallery last week, too bad is for long lease and not open for sale.

Anyone know if there's any such development for sale?

TNB Meter Inspection With Police @ Night

I got a surprise visit from TNB yesterday night at 8pm, where they brought along 2 policeman claiming to be the procedures to check my house meter at night.

When I asked the person in charge (TNB) on the permit to check the meter, they claimed that with their name tag they have the right to perform inspection on the meter any time. I have no objection since the meter is owned by them.

But problem is;
1. Why doing so at night without notice?
2. Is it necessary to have policeman along?
3. What is the inspection period? If they are going to do this like 3 months interval I ma very "busy" entertaining them lor.....

Guys, opinion please;

1. Normal Downlight with Bulb
Pros:
- Cheaper
- Ease to get replacement
- Easy to change bulb
- LED bulb is common now

Cons:
- Design not so nice if compared to LED down lighting
- Limit light color selection (4000k light is not available)
- Shorter life span
- Higher energy consumption

2. LED Downlight
Pros:
- Design is awesome
- Range of light colors could be selected (the cool white 4000k color is easily available)
- Long life span
- Low energy consumption

Cons:
- Expensive
- Can be not reliable if go for wrong brand
- Changing of drive and maintenance could damage the ceiling as the fittings are tight
- Worry about outdated drivers (presume need to change/modify the LED lighting)
