Before he died, he did a free Will with PB Trustee that appoints them as the Executor. His estate is very simple - one house, one car, some shares, and bank accounts. <br /><br />Our family is close-knit and all his children are close to each other. None of us wants to keep the house or car, so we intend to sell them at market value then divide the cash equally among his children.<br /><br />We feel his Estate Administration is simple and we can execute it ourselves. However because PB Trustee is the Executor, we need to engage them and they charge heavy fees for this simple administration. All the beneficiaries of my father&#39;s Will have signed a letter to request PB Trustee to renounce their position as Executor, then we appoint our own Executor and lawyer to perform the Estate Administration. <br /><br />Surely PB Trustee will state some conditions and require some payments. However, after several months of sending them our letter and waiting, they still have no response and said to be waiting on their management to decide.<br /><br />Seeking advice here from the community.
