China will create a blacklist of its tourists who behave badly overseas, state-media reported, after several embarrassing incidents involving Chinese nationals travelling abroad.

The country’s National Tourism Administration (NTA) will keep a database of travellers who commit offences, with their names passed onto police, customs officials and even banks, the official Xinhua news agency reported.

Offences that could earn obnoxious tourists a place on the blacklist include “acting antisocially on public transport, damaging private or public property, disrespecting local customs, sabotaging historical exhibits or engaging in gambling or pornographic activities,” Xinhua said.

People will be blacklisted for two years after their offences, it added.

China’s economy has boomed over the past decade, expanding the ranks of its middle-class who are hungry for foreign travel after the country’s decades of isolation in the last century.

Chinese travellers took 100 million “outbound” trips – including to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan – last year, according to official figures.

But the surge of wanderlust has left some officials back home red-faced, and the blacklist is the latest of China’s efforts to control its citizens’ behaviour abroad.

Chinese tourists were reported to have outraged locals in Thailand this year by drying underwear in an airport, defecating in public and kicking a bell at a temple.

Several air rage incidents – including Chinese passengers opening emergency exit doors and throwing boiling noodles at cabin crew – have also been reported in the last year.

In 2013, a Chinese sparked online outrage after he wrote his name on an ancient carving in Egypt. The NTA said in a 64-page Guidebook For Civilised Tourism, issued in 2013, that tourists should not pick their noses in public, pee in pools or steal airplane life jackets.

Chinese travellers spent US$102bil (RM366.76bil) overseas in 2012, making them the world’s biggest spenders ahead of German and American tourists, according to the UN World Tourism Organization. – AFP Relaxnews

I want to repair my roof tiles as there has been some leaks. Doing some survey on the internet, I discover that many of them using some sort of sealant for that purpose.

As per title, do you guys have suggestion what type and brand/model of sealant that can do the job?

Now I regret

Recently I bought OnePlus One via official invitation but haven't received it yet. I plan to sell it once I've received it. Now I regret I bought it in the first place bcoz :

- The exchange rate is sh*tty. It cost me RM1400++. Belum masuk reshipping + SIRIM.
- To sell it here, the lowest, most reasonable price for me to sell must be around RM1500 - RM1600. Otherwise, tak berbaloi langsung. But, at that price it seems too pricey.

What do you guise think? Am I in deep sh*t?

Working with Selangor Gov - My Experience

I work at SUK Selangor.... IT dept. In charge of IT procurement. Let me share a little about my experience working there, especially before March 2008 and post-March 2008 :

IT procurement -
Before March 2008, 99% IT procurement is conducted thru 'direct-nego'. Bcoz - weak guidlines/peraturan thus abused by top management/executive. Post-March 2008, 95% of our IT procurement is awarded thru open tender/restricted tender.

Tanah Rizab Melayu (ref. kawan kerja di PTG Selangor) -
Sebelum Mac 2008, hampir semua permohonan tukar status tanah rizab melayu kpd tanah biasa diluluskan dengan mudah. Selepas Mac 2008, tiada permohonan tukar status tanah rizab melayu kpd tanah biasa diluluskan.

p/s : hanya MB SAHAJA ada kuasa untuk tukar status tanah melalui J/kuasa Tanah & Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri.

Arak -
Sebelum Mac 2008, tiada apa-apa tindakan berkenaan dengan arak. Melayu minum dibiarkan shj. Selepas Mac 2008, Dr Hasan Ali rampas arak di Seksyen 8 sebab ada aduan yg org Melayu beli, tapi kena pulang balik sebab bertentangan dengan Undang-Undang Kecil PBT. Lepas tu ada program self regulation - kedai secara sendiri tak jual kepada org Melayu.

Kerja -
Sebelum Mac 2008, org-org exco tak usik staf-staf kerajaan. lagipun MB n exco2 jarang ada kat ofis. Lepas Mac 2008, staf2 gov memang penat lah. boleh kata tiap2 minggu ada je event state gov yang kena involve. ada sekali tu aku paling hangin, nak buat kursus buat blog je. boleh nya petik nama MB, kata MB nak datang la, hapa la sebab nak projektor ASAP. pada hal budak2 sampai-smpai je 4 org je yang join kursus tu.

Dear frens,

Yesterday I sold my Blackberry which I bought from Celcom - contract 1 year to someone. And that someone is using Maxis. Will there be any problem? I mean can he/she use BBM, etc once he/she activate Maxis BIS?

BTW, my contract ended 6th March ago, so I'm thinking to buy a new n more advanced BB, namely Torch. Hehehe....

TGV e-Ticket'g - Don't receive confirmation e-mail

About a minute ago, my GF bought movie ticket using TGV e-Ticketing. She logs in using my account and paid using her credit card. Once the transaction through, she forgot to print the receipt assuming that the receipt will be emailed to my e-mail (coz using my TGV account).

Unfortunately, the e-mail still hasn't come coz usually the email will be sent for just a matter of second.

Got any idea ah, ppl? How am I going to get the Booking ID if not the receipt? Plz help me
