Sendmail STARTTLS

Hi all,

I have the following server running as a mail relay server: -

CentOS 4.2
Sendmail 8.13.1 with STARTTLS

I had purchased a certificate from Thawte.

I configured all the necessary thing in my sendmail.mc as below for STARTTLS support: -

define(`CERT_DIR', `/etc/mail/certs')
define(`confSERVER_CERT', `CERT_DIR/host.cert')
define(`confSERVER_KEY', `CERT_DIR/host.key')
define(`confCLIENT_CERT', `CERT_DIR/host.cert')
define(`confCLIENT_KEY', `CERT_DIR/host.key')
define(`confCACERT', `CERT_DIR/cacert.pem')
define(`confCACERT_PATH', `CERT_DIR/CA')

Restarting Sendmail is without any error message.

When I test sending an email to a remote Sendmail server with STARTTLS, I got the following message below: -

version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA bits=256 verify=FAIL

Why verify=FAIL?

Can anybody here help me?
