playing dota

so yesterday i went to a cybercafe and try to play dota again.

the thing is, the last time i played was like 8 years ago or something, back in uni days.

so i joined a public game and chose faceless void. as u can imagine, having not played the game for so long, it wasn't pretty. at one point i wanted to make battlefury, and i started by buying a mithril hammer, and someone on my team immediately asked me how long have i not played. i just replied "long, lololo".

but surprisingly, i was not the biggest feeder on my team, it was actually someone else. soon enough, two people on my team cant stand all the losing anymore and left the game.

so my teammates started asking, how, switch or remake?

surprisingly, someone from the other team, the team that has thus far done all the owning, volunteered to switch over to make it a 4v4 game instead of 3v5. he was using tiny the stone giant.

so when the switch was completed and that guy has switched over to my team, i said:

me: hi
him: hi
me: welcome to the losing team
him: haha
me: i hoped you brought a huge jar of vaseline with you, cuz now you're gonna get raped like us
[silence]

then 2 minutes later he left the game too.

did i make him leave?
