My computer can't detect my headphone.

I've reformatted my desktop recently and found out that when I plugged in my headphones, it doesn't detect it. By the way, my speakers got fried so I was using my headphones instead. At any rate, HELP! I checked my sound system in my control panel and almost everything was grayed out.

How to sketch?

As a designer, it's important to know the basics of the basics right? I mean, if you can't draw and you call yourself a designer, it's rather... degrading. Being a total noob at this drawing and sketching, what's the best way to start off right? Please do give some pointers! Like, what to practice first then moving on bla bla. Oh btw, do you guys practice creative thinking when you were in colleges or something? Tips please? >_< And and! Photography concept tips! Thanks a lot!

Hey there Lowyat members. I've been hearing a lot on Lowyat being a great forum for Malaysians and all. Bla bla bla.

I'm interested in design courses offered in KL. To tell the truth, I totally love designing. Not to say that I'm awesomely good at it but... I just really like to think of designs, making it a reality and stuff. However, after SPM I went on to Form 6 to study science stream... Yes yes parents and finance problems. It was sad, really.

I can't take Form 6 anymore. Not because of the studies, but the environment! The TEACHERS! Good god! It was terrible! (I'm a Lower Six student right now.) I can't take it anymore. I was positively fumed for like, 6 months?

I did learn Photoshop. Not that good but just the basics and all. I mean, Photoshop has so much to explore. I tried Illustrator but I'm getting a headache with the pen tool. Argh! So liek, I wanted to quit Form 6 and go study design in PJCAD(?), IACT(?), MMU(?) or One Academy(?). Yes I'm interested in Multimedia Design. Funny enough, my school offered Computing for Form 6 and I grabbed it without hesitation.

Okay okay enough ranting. Ah my poor keyboard. So the question is this, should I really quit Form 6? Or stay? If I leave, where do I go? Or do I wanna stay Form 6, have a try at Star Education Fund? Argh I dunnu. PTPTN is the only way?
