I did a flight change on their website, in the end, I paid but the flight didn't get updated.

And I might be paying more because their slow "investigation", you know lah, 24hours to 48hours the flight ticket price may increase already

Can we really not expecting much from a "budget" airline?

Trying to get assurance from their CS, but no luck

Few Questions regarding Car AC

Hi all,

I don't know much about car AC servicing and how the compressor supposed to work.

1. How frequent should a normal good working AC compressor cycle?
For my case, 9AM sunny day ( maybe 26degree to 29degree outside) , idling with warmed engine under shades,
hottest temperature (or minimum gas?) , compressor runs 4 seconds and rests for 35 seconds, then repeats.
coldest temperature (or maximum gas?), compressor runs 9 seconds and rests for 9 seconds, then repeats.
Is my compressor working correctly? Or is it "short-cycling"?

2. I heard about compressor oil being refill/flush, but how it is done?
I replaced the cabin air filter and cleaned the cooling coil myself (using 8LINE air con cleaner) before went for servicing, and I told that to the air con man.
I asked him to flush the refrigerant and the compressor oil, then I saw him connect his machine to high end and low end of the AC system and completed the flushing within 30minutes.
I know the piping are for the refrigerant, so he didn't actually flush the compressor oil right? I was expecting him to open up the compressor to flush and refill the oil?
but I also heard from some people that, refrigerant and compressor oil are being flushed together one (how does that work?)

Add-on: he also cleaned the condenser, checked the belt, checked the compressor and checked the fan.

3. A full air con service should includes,
a) flush and refill the refrigerant
b) clean both condenser and cooling coil
c) replace the cabin air filter
d) check if the compressor and fan is working fine
e) flush and refill the compressor oil
Am I correct or am I missing some of the steps?

P.S. my car is a 2 year old Saga VVT, 30,000 KM. First time air con servicing.

Unifi modem suddenly out of LINK

In the middle of the day my internet went down.

I tried reset the modem and the router. Then I saw the LINK LED is no lighting up anymore.

Called service centre and they helped me reset the port yet still no luck.

They said to help me send a report regarding this but I am very curious what will cause this? I am happy customer for 4months and not a single day the Unifi is down but now out of the sudden?

Anyone faced this issue before? What are the possible causes of this issue?

Car Wash Shop vs Self Wash

Hi, as title says.

Car wash shop:-
Pros: Faster, time-saving, energy-saving.
Cons: Need to pay a little bit (For my case it is RM12 including wash, vacuum, tire wax and glass cleaning.) Need to try a lot of car wash shop to get a good and cheap car wash.

Self wash:
Pros: CHEAPER ( one bottle of car wash concentration can last up to almost 15 car wash (using cosway one not advert here), Cleaner (you wash it like bathing your baby)
Cons: Tiring, time wasting, need a lot of equipment (wax, polish, car wash concentration, clothes, tire wax, glass cleaning solution,.....)

So which one u guys prefer? Is the RM10 to RM15 worth the price?

To me I usually alternate between these two. When I feel lazy I just go car wash shop. When I feeling siok I just want to slowly take care of my own car but in the end end up super tired.

Hi, I did my first service in Proton Edar Jalan Makloom. However, on top of minor servicing, the issue that I complained didn't get solved. So I am thinking of going other service center for better quality.

Car loan "trick"?

Hi all,

recently I am going to buy a car and my car dealer told me they will use a higher spec car's price to apply for loan from bank. (they say that will be easier to pass the loan)

I would like to know is this a common thing in car dealing? Is this against the law? Will I be repaying more than I am supposed to?

My case is rather simple, yet rare and strange.
During hot days (starting from 10am or 11am), my line starts to lag. Websites take so long to open and some games are unplayable. The situation stops when the sun sets or the ground becomes colder (around 5pm or 6pm).

How am I so sure about the heat is messing my streamyx speed?
Because whenever I was in the middle of lagness (afternoon time), and it suddenly rains or it is cloudy (cool winds blowing), my line can maintain 450-500KBps speed without any problem. But the problem comes back again once the sun comes out and heats up the surroundings.

Does anyone has experience like this?
Is there any solution to this kind of weird case?

i am using streamyx combo 2 (RM90)... i experienced every evening with slow internet speed... at the 1st i was thinking of too much internet users at that time... but i realized that when it is raining my speed goes normal... i know my case is very weird and odd as most of the consumers are having slow and unstable speed at thunder storm but mine is totally opposed to it... so does anyone else experience the same thing as mine? or anyone can explain what happen to my line and what should i do to solve this problem?

P.S. : as i said, my line goes down when it's hot weather, so the speed is normal during morning and night time...
