I got a dual key unit I'm renting out. Plan to upgrade the door lock. Each of the unit itself already have 3layer of doors to reach inside. The grille, the main door, and the door to respective unit. If I whack 2k for each door will cost me a stupid 8k for everything..

Plus, the condo already have 3 layer of security before getting into each floor.

Anyone have comment on these less than rm200 lock? Really rubbish?

Hi sifu, im complete noob with audio stuff, but i manage to do a bit of due diligent, please do explain like im 12y/o thanks.

my car is ATIVA H variant, that doesnt comes with tweeter (the AV variant do comes with tweeter though). But im not sure whether it comes with crossover somewhere inside my car.

so my plan for a simple upgrade is:

1. Replace front speaker with Mohawk M1-6.2 pro 6.5" component speakers (c/w crossover). RM245

Questions:
1. is my setup make sense for entry level?
2. Anyone here use the component speaker before? does the crossover have dial/switch for further tuning? else any other brand/model that comes with tunable crossover?
3. Is the passive crossover a durable device? initially im thinking of getting a nakamichi 8ch DSP, but im afraid i'll have another device prone for breaking down. IDK, maybe another upgrade in future.
4. Does the cheap MBQ subwoofer makes any difference between the 8" and 10"? might get the 8" due to space. My dad has this in his car for about 12years, still working and it's adequate to satisfy my need.
5. can my headunit support the power consumption of the speakers im going to upgrade to? how do i know?

Plan to build kampung house

Hi guys, i plan to build a kampung house on my dad's land. I do not have the budget to hire all this fancy contractor to build for me. so just doodle here and see maybe some people may be interested to do something like this on their land too.

Here's the sketch:

The build is about 9.6mx9.2m
The column height is about 750mm
The Grey wall around the build are existing retention wall built by my dad (the gap from the house is 1.5m for the rightside, 2-2.5m for the leftside)
The weirdly shape top is a louvre for passive ventilation, and the glass is to open up the space
Flat roof with waterproofing every 5 years, slightly slope and will add hidden gutter near the back. plan to build some rack and plant some succulent or flowers to resist a bit of UV.
Exposed conduit and piping so that it's all drama-free and easy to install/maintain.
Plan to use galvanized purlin to build the structure, and EPS cement panel for the ground, wall, and ceiling. it's all very light weight.

Land has a lot of slope, so not much flat land to do fancy design. Land area is under kk sabah. Im not sure whether they are strict on building a kampung house, but seems to me all the houses around this remote area is built the kampung way. i dont think they have any sort of approval. maybe they just pay some under table money to get it done and apply for electricity.

what are your thoughts?

yes, i have deleted all extension except for kaspersky.
microsoft edge doesnt do this, if not because they force to use bing, i'll probably switch.

My gf bro had serious epilepsy at the age of 1. Im not so educated about epilepsy, but I felt like the parents did not put too much attention when the kid was still in an unstable age (because of work, and small town medical care is very poor, or they are just not resourceful enough when emergency happen). Is epilepsy avoidable? her sister is smart, straight A form 6 student. My gf not really that smart, but she has a good heart, but a bit too religious.

Question and discussion:
1. is epilepsy avoidable? I remember somewhere I think got some kind of quick injection kit directly to the heart area to manage the seizure, but I cant seems to find the exact product.
2. epilepsy inheritable? share some of your relatives stories?
3. religious gf can change? of all my experience in the society, I can only sum to this sentence "all a Christian want, is another Christian". My way of thinking developed through my education and career really is not compatible with over religious view. while I believe there's a supreme being, I just cant accept the fact that some person is able to turn water to wine. I already said that I can accept the religion, but in a moderate way, not literary word by word in the book.
4. If your children does turn out to be mentally challenged, what is your moral perspective on this? I found out that it's quite difficult to live with one in the same house, because there's no way or method to use to help the person to grow at all. I felt stuck. if other kids with attitude problem, or not being guided properly when they are young, there's still a lot of room to help them grow and hopefully annoy me less in future. Another thing is if you have one person in the family to take care this child fulltime, you have one less person to supplement the household income (actually 2, when you consider the kid is unable to earn at adult age). Is there a care center that take in these child? how much per month?

I hope I don't word it out as an asshole. But remember, I had a choice, but I still remain.

I would like to ask whether we have an All-in-One Temperature monitor widget style for our CPU & GPU & HW?

Software that roughly works like following:
1. widget style like how we used to have in older times, at the right top corner of our windows and can move around
2. consume low resources as much as possible

Use asb loan to buy house outright

Guys, im super noob with loan interest and all that, i just cant get to put the concept into my head..because for example a house loan, ppl keep talking about which bank provide lower interest rate..but for me, it's too insignificant to consider that small discrepancy, because if you take loan for 30-35yrs.. it's almost guarantee you will pay about double the amount..

My question today is whether it is advisable to take asb loan 200k, and buy a 200k hse outright (with a little addon to cover legal fees). Because the rental is around 900 per month, with potential of increment of rental in future, and also capital gain on the property..

Reason im considering this move is because it's so tedious to get a home loan. Coz they dont care whether you got capital, they want you to have high income. My asb loan last payment on march, max out my asb2 also. Im done with asb, im looking forward to invest in other type of assets.

Hope i can get some insight from sifu here

Guys, there were a game from sport toto, Grand 6/63 i think the amount was close to 60mil. before the jackpot reach that number, i used to buy like 3 days ticket..when closing that jackpot pool, they make it so that everyone can only buy 1 day ticket. i feel like these kind of game memang rigged. for example if jib kor tell sporttoto he needs money, they can just check in their computer system if someone win for the latest result, if no one win, they just print a backdated ticket with the winning number..isnt it too easy for the company to make money? wth..

Renting out without contract

Guys I have read that in case of troublesome tenant who wont pay up, it will takes a long time (around 6months?) to get them move out legally.

Question is can I not have the tenancy agreement in the first place and deals everything verbally except for payment receipt? When tenant turn out to be problematic, I can simply report police and said someone is living in my house (or might as well dont issue any receipt at all, so no traces)

Am I doing something illegal?

Guys, i met a cute girl on wechat using drift bottle, told her im looking for a wife. we continued on chatting for a month and at times she will get 'angry' why i reply late or reply in a sense that i dont have intention to develop relationship with her..(i am very busy working at construction site, and i dont think anything in wechat is serious)

knowing that she too probably is looking for a partner (by getting 'angry' that way) i told her getting married is not an issue for me and im ready, but all we have to do is to really know whether we suit each other. she will also say something like dont look for other girls otherwise she will do the same. or increasing the usage of 'dear' in our chat. Weird things is when i said why dont we add each other in fb and whatsapp, because i wanted to know who she is, who are her friends, and whether she already has a bf and try too look for 'options'. I wanted to do this is also because i want her to know who i am and whether she really want to go to that long life journey with me. she suddenly accuse me for not trusting her when she said she is single and available, and if i dont trust her then add also no use. i explained to her i cannot stand the feeling of being used/fill-in-the-gap-guy because of past relationship, and then diam diam play along with her coz i will not lose anything also

continue to chat for a few weeks, normal chat like whether had lunch/dinner and stuff, are we getting better if we are sick, have i reached my destination for long hour drives etc. and then most of the time im the one who ask questions like what she likes to do, how many family members, whether she interested in running some kind of business i have in mind in future etc. but it was quite dry from her side. being the 'guy' i figured im the one who should pay more interest in her than she should, i continued on for a few weeks more. but then slowly she also reply me very slow, like morning 6am i text, she reply only at 4pm and the reply is very flat like 'no plan', 'yup', 'okay you too'..

then i proceed to ask her whether she is feeling down or something because not very chatty for a few days. she just said she was busy (on sunday, and bare in mind i work on sunday and is seriously busy, she is imitating me like try to give me a taste of my own medicine) she then ask 'why? you mad? I know you mad it's not like i'm free, im busy also', i was speechless for a few second and then tell her im not mad, but just dont feel the attachment especially when we are not connected in fb and whatsapp, then there it goes from 1pm to 10pm we continued to argue because of this fb thing (while im working!).

content of the argument roughly talks about: why add fb?, trust issues, 'relationship' not moving further, small issue cannot handle big issue how to handle?, relationship is bothside, and a bunch of stuff i lazy want to type here.

Point here is, is it so hard to add in fb? she scare to reveal her identity? she said she dont know me and why cant she refuse to add which i think is bullcrap, if she is having marriage in mind dont you think it's better to quickly add in fb and see each other's life? if this is not moving further in a relationship then what is? and isn't better we make sure both of us are genuine? no ladyboys or gay or troll or some scam artist or someone already attached? dont she feels like chatting to a wall stuck in wechat? isnt it better to have each others number to call and make sure everything is alright? I personally dont think the daily texting of 'where are you'. 'had lunch/dinner' is going to lead to anywhere..

please give constructive advise, plan to send this thread for her to read what other thinks..

But how about businesses? What are the key factors for businessman to consider when setting up a business? Potential cashflow? How long to Breakeven? Just want to have a rough idea what makes a good/healthy business in monetary perspective.

last time used to read somewhere saying lowyat has a group of doctors to help out here. I hope I can seek my answer here.

I used to play badminton and fall down one time, and this become larger and larger over the year.

Some say that part has some kind of fluid, which the body will generate and accumulate over there. Even if i get a surgery, it will come back again. then other says after surgery, my finger wont work properly (cannot stretch it straight anymore).

I need information, what should i do now?
