Akhirnya Malaysia lebih ke depan berbanding negara-negara Asean lain (kecuali Singapura la kan).

Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, known online as VitalyzdTv with over 10 million followers, spent the last nine months in a Philippine prison. Now he's being deported to Russia.

In April 2025, Vitaly was livestreaming in Manila. His "content"? Stealing a motorcycle from a security guard. Repeatedly snatching another guard's cap. Taking an electric fan from a restaurant. Threatening to rob a woman in public.

He broadcast it all live, thinking it was just another viral prank for his audience.

Philippine authorities arrested him on the spot. He faced charges for harassment and theft, was labeled an "undesirable alien," and locked up.

His lawyers tried to get him released, citing mental health issues. The government refused.

For months, both Russia and the United States didn't want him back. Even though he holds an American green card, he's a Russian citizen by passport, and neither country was willing to accept his deportation.

He spent those months in maximum security. During that time, he reportedly got baptized, showed remorse, and his appearance changed dramatically. Photos from custody show someone completely different from the influencer who was filming stunts just months before.

In January 2026, his cases were finally resolved. He served his time. Russia agreed to take him back.

The Philippine government made it clear: "We welcome visitors and treat them with respect. We expect them to follow the same rules we do."

They added: "We have no ill feelings against Vitaly. He has served his time, shown remorse, and he will be a free man when he returns to Russia."

The Philippines didn't just arrest him. They made an example out of him. A warning to other streamers who think filming chaos in foreign countries will just get them views without consequences.

Other influencers are facing similar charges in different countries. Turns out, clout doesn't protect you from the law.
