SCAMMED? Issue with Shopee Malaysia: System Cancel

I bought a high priced item on Shopee recently and I am sharing my recent experience with Shopee Malaysia to highlight a concerning issue regarding system-automated cancellations and customer service follow-through.

Anyway, almost immediately after I purchased, the seller being very professional already messaged me that he will prepare the item and send the following day. It's Shopee who cancelled the purchase (within 31 hours), they expect seller to ship item next day.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

TLDR:

* Order placed: April 14th, 8pm.

* System Cancellation: The order was cancelled by the platform in less than 31 hours! My order was cancelled on 16 April, 2.17am. They mentioned that the shipping deadline had passed under their policy? This means, Shopee requires the Seller to ship the next day on 15th April.

* Due to this self cancellation, the vouchers I used expired. To repurchase the same item today, the price difference is RM200.

* After countless emails, On April 22nd, I spoke with a manager who acknowledged the situation and promised a resolution by the end of the week. Of course they never respond on time. Everytime a promised phone call on a certain date will be MIA and I have to reach out to them again. (At least 5 times!)

* Outcome: As of April 28th, they finally called and could only offer an RM40 voucher. Meaning, I have to bear the cost myself.

This is a matter of principles and I will have this issue escalated to KPDN.

Honestly, this is frustrating.

Need Expert opinions on Yamaha NS-P51 VS NS-P160

Hi Guys, I hope someone here can help me make a decision between these 2 Models (Yamaha NS-P51 Vs Yamaha NS-P160). I need to replace my existing Center & Surround Speaker (3 Pieces). Which model will suit my current Amp? I'm intend to use the new Yamaha Surround Speakers as Bookshelf Front satellites speakers. Here are the details

My current Amp output:
75 Watt RMS (per satellite)
150Hz – 18kHz (The satellites)
8 ohms

Both Yamahas models are the same price. I noticed that (NS-P51) has higher Wattage and Sensitivity as compared to (NS-P160). I understand a higher Sensitivity is good. However, I'm not sure about the wattage as both models seem to have a HUGE difference here.

KUCHING: Where can I buy 50" Samsung PN50C550?

Dear lowyat Brothers and Sisters,

This is my 1st post and also the very 1st time I will be investing and buying a FULL HD Plasma TV. The last TV I own was a CRT 34" Panasonic TV.

I have settled on Samsung PN50C550 as it seems to be the most value-for-money screen available and fits my budget of $4k. I have checked with one electrical store and was told that this model is sold out and was retailing at ($4200).

Is there any kindly soul in Kuching that can advise me where I can purchase this unit? Any recommended store?

I did a search in the forum and found out that C L Khoon and HAW ELECTRICAL are some of the recommended ones.
