990fx mobo to choose

3) GIGABYTE 990FXA-D3 - RM475

Ok, between this 3 mobo, can u list down the pros and con. Im kinda stuck between this 3 mobo actually.
My current mobo is Gigabyte MA-78GM-US2H and so far I'm fine with gigabyte. Haven't tried ASUS though.

Will be pleased if you guys can recommend me other brands for mobo but please, within my budget.

Maybe I will pair my mobo with Corsair Vengeance L.P. 2gb kit x 2. (RM175)

My budget for MOBO around RM450.

CPU: AMD Phenom II 955BE
GPU: Sapphire HD5830 Xtreme (future upgrade)

Hi all,

Im planning to upgrade my pc. Here are the specs i'm using NOW:

CPU: AMD Athlon 7750 BE
Cooling: Noctua NH U12P SE2
MOBO: GA MA78GM US2H
RAM: 2GB Kingston, 512mb Kingston, 512mb Samsung.
GPU: GeForce 9500GT
PSU: CM Silent Pro 600w

So for the upgrading part, I would like to invest my money on the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX and Corsair Vengeance Dual Kit Memory.

My question is, can those new parts support my CPU?

I just got my budget. Around RM1k. Planning to upgrade my CPU and GPU. AMD 955 BE and Sapphire HD 5830 Xtreme.

As for the RAM, I will stick with the DDR2 cause my MOBO only support DDR2. I have a question, let's say if if I buy another DDR2 2gb RAM (not the same spec like my old one), will it effect my performance. My friend told me once, if your RAM have different latency from each other, it will effect. It will read the lowest speed. Is that so?

I read good review for this product. Low voltage (1.5v) and also for those using noctua nhd14, this one for sure can fit.

basically i dont do OC for now. but definitely upgrading my GC to sapphire hd 5800 series.
as for the cpu AMD phenom x2 (using this right now), ddr2.

the feedback from silverstone was quite impressived.
but the diff is:

Strider Plus - single 12AV with 34A, 100% modular , 120mm fan.
Silent Pro - single 12AV with 80A, 24 pin no modular, 135mm fan.
