Recently my car produce a periodically hissing sound from the air vent, went to Proton SC - said is condenser punctured. They quoted RM 800 for it.

A checked thru online they cost approx RM 400 from aircond specialist. Possible SC potong customer meh?

What is the chemical wash liquid they used in car wash (those road side car wash). Seems super effective for removing stubborn dirt. My area the liquid is reddish/pink color. Where to get it?

Where to get wood plank supply for building parts/furniture? Not the 3-ply wood.

In the States they usually got it from HomeDepot but where to get it in Malaysia? What is the MOQ?

Update: Went to those raw material supplier before but they are selling in super large scale/size. I only need few sticks of it.

WD-40 for battery terminal, yes or no?

Recently my battery died after just merely < 1 year. Due to my negligence, heavy deposits are found at the terminal and probably cause it to die.

So my ultimate question after googling for awhile, is it better to seal/clean/coat the terminal with WD-40 for corrode resistance etc?

My concern is the oil will seep into the contacts between the conductive parts and form a layer weakening the contact. What say you sifu.

Proton Exora Battery Warning Light

When my car passed by a large puddle of water on the road (with splash etc), the battery warning light turns on and my steering is DEAD. Cannot turn at all. Any idea? My battery is healthy and just changed less than a year.

BEng (register as IEng in UK but "professional engineer AKA PE" in MALAYSIA after graduate)

So the question is, does it gives more benefits when you have both accreditation?My current university will accredit us with BEng (I guess most Asia countries). So in order to get MEng, you need to "top up" 1 year (some universities allow this, including UK ones).

In a simpler form of question, is it better to get both UK CEng and MALAYSIA PE?

Correct me if I'm wrong as most info I understand myself thru own googling.

Ship accident @ Port Klang

Is it okay to actually use a suction cup and stick it on the plane window (of course inside)? I'm afraid during take off and landing, the pressure drop and increase on the suction cup will cause something the window to crack or dent.
