I've ruled out the perdana as those who mentioned they drive the perdana and the 318 said that its more heavy maintenance than the bimmer.

Upgrading ram for Macbook late 2009

Hi guys,

After reading around for a while, i could not find an answer in the forum so i decided to start a three about this to seek advise

I would like to upgrade my macbook ram from 2 to 4 or even 8gb if possible
Current hardware specs Macbook Late 2009 specs

Current software specs (I read there are different versions of these and , so i leave this here for your perusal)

OS: 10.7 lion

1.Can i use a 1333MHZ (or maybe faster) DDR3 ram on this model? i do not mind if it is down clocked to 1066MHZ
2.Could someone who has done the following share about their experience like if there are any issues, like crashing, overheating, cannot boot etc etc.

Receiving payment from Amazon

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right section to ask as I find this is the most relevant to park my question.

I am deciding how much to price a book to sell as there are charges involved in receiving payment.

I want to publish a book in Amazon KDP(kindle direct publishing). I've read through the details and there are 70% and 35% royalty option.

Assuming I am only getting 35% royalty return, i would like to maximise my cashout to MYR later.

My question is with regards to receiving payment from the ebook sales.

1.What channel of receiving payment do I have besides paypal and Amazon payments(Does this accept payment for kindle books?)? Anyone has experience with these two kindly share with me.

2. I find the rates confusing. Could anyone with experience clarify this.

Say I price my book at 2.99 USD.

Amazon+Paypal
The royalty i get =
[2.99-0.1(delivery fee/mb) ] x 0.35=1.01
Assuming exchange rate of 1USD to RM 3, Then i will be receiving 1.01x3=RM3.03 in royalty

With Paypal to receive the payment
I will be receiving 3.03 x 0.954(This is 4.4%fee) -2=0.89

So for every USD2.99 ebook I sell on Amazon, i am only receiving Rm0.89, seems very little.

And may I ask for Paypal, when you cash out, the only option available is RHB Bank?
