Please help. My phone is expired at 11/1/2012 and I don realized that. I just realized that when i tried to reload today.

US cheque to bank in into local bank

Hi, I have received US citibank cheque in US currency few days ago. However, I have no idea what to do with the cheque? Should I direct convert it into RM and deposit to my saving account? If using this method, what will be the charges, processing days?
Option 2, remain in US currency. Question: What account I need to open in bank and what is the charges for that?

FYI. The cheque is around 4k USD.
