Hi guys & gals, need more help/info on dual booting in vista (vista + XP in single HDD). Have to do this bcause got external hardware that is not compitible with vista. Is it ok or i hv to buy a new HDD? Its an office PC BTW.

Cpu usage loop error?

Need help guys / gals, currently troubleshooting office mate pc.
She said the PC suddenly crash. Then when boot, it slowly advnce to next screen took quite a while to reach windows then it hang. Tried swap psu, Gc, ram & Hdd no avail.

Finally I manage to enter windows. But the pc usage are abit jumpy and in some kind of process loop. In task manager it indicate the cpu usage continous looping from 0% - 40% then back to 0% usage again. Whereas the system idle process is 99% (24 running process all 0%)

PC spec is:
Athlon xp 2400+
Epox 8rda+
2 X 512 md ddr corsair value ram
Fx 5200 gpu
ICute 430 Psu
1 80 gig maxtor sata (system)
1 40 gig maxtor pata
Win xp pro sp2

First time encounter this kind of prob. I suspect the cpu is about to kong, gonna try swap cpu later.. Any clues guys / gals?

Is my Cpu too hot? Idle 55c?

Mobo : 39 C
CPU : 55 C
PWM : 44 C

Sys spec:
AMD64 939 3000+ Winchester
Coolermaster Hyper 48 heat sink
ABIT AV8
Kingston 1 gig 512 x2
Radeon 9800pro
2 80gb maxtor sata
1 80gb maxtor pata
Power Logic Magnum 450

Its was running the same temp (idle 55c) wif stock heat sink now using full copper HS also same, is it sensor rosak or normal temp for 3000+ winnie?
