How to discuss finance with gf?

I met a girl four months ago. She is great as a person. However, the problem arises because i spend quite a bit of money on her thinking that guy should pay most of the bill initially. To be fair, she also pay some of the bill once in a while without me asking. One day, i just ask her to pay a bill casually and i am not aware that she was taken aback at the time. A week later, when we had our serious discussion about our relationship, she brought up this incident and said that men should be spontaneous and not asking for payment because she will pay when she think it is the right time (which does not happen often). I was shocked. In short, our discussion got interrupted and did not go far. I am planning another discussion again on money issue because i think it is important in a relationship and it is not about who being spontaneous or not. Hence, i would like to ask for any advice on how to discuss finance with my gf? Any tip on how to do a serious discussion without any fight? Many thanks

I am just wondering can i use 'lack of job training' as a reason why i left a company?

It is because 3 months ago, i applied and got a job in this company as a manager. However, there is no on-job training even though the boss knew that i am inexperience. I was told to do 'whatever i like'. There is no induction on the job but yet there is a high expectation to achieve targets, etc. I had put in a request but no follow up on it.

i am a pharmacist working in australia..i had been sent another email about my work performance..it is really really bad and the boss said that it will be kept as future reference..i just wondering what are the signs when you are about to get fired?? i am just new into my career..should i leave now or stay a while first?? i dunno what to do because since this is my first job..i probably cannot get any good reference check if i left this early (just four months) into my new job since i was promoted from an intern into permanent position..this is the second email in a row already..

this morning i was locked inside my house..unable to get out..hence, i called my boss to relieve me for a while..then he sent a long email lambasting me and my performance..

my co-workers often act friendly in front of me..then when i did some mistakes..they will report to my boss..

now he said that instead of doing reviews with me..he will monitor me..

i would love to stay and improve myself..but if i am getting fired once i make another mistake or working in fear of making mistakes..i think it is time for me to leave soon..

i just wondering what are the signs of getting fired if you fell in your boss's bad side..and when i should leave the work..coz for now, i gradually lost my passion for my work..

Hi,

I just finished my apprenticeship recently. Since i am new, i made a few mistakes along the way..some of them are serious..my boss yelled at me almost everyday..recently, i made another one..and he decided to write me an email and cc to the human resources department in hq..will this jeoparidise my cv??

Please advise..because this is my first time encountered this situation and my first career..i called him to explain and he told me to take his instruction seriously or else terrible things will happen to me then hang up..now i am badly confused..

Battery doctor app

I had downloaded kingsoft battery doctor..it asked me to do a full cycle charge..I had already done it but the system doesn't register it a full cycle charge even when i recharged my ipad 2 from 0%..what happened?? should i get another battery doctor app?? Please advice. Thx..

I read this article while surfing on net. I am confused on several things written in the article. I had attached the article below It would be great if any of you can clarify these to me

Prolong battery lifespan of ipad/ipad2

1) It is stated that one should avoid fully recharge/discharge. And yet in the second tip, it mentioned that one should avoid dropping the battery charge to low..which one should i follow??

2) It is also mentioned that one should charge when the battery level reach 15% (when there is a red indicator comes up), i drop my battery level to 14% and there is still no red indicator..how to activate it in my ipad 2??

I plan to get a gaming pc with the budget of 4k plus in mind. I had surveryed the forum and found this build.

But the only problem is that I planned to build this and take it to aussie as building a custom rig in aussie is more expensive.

Performance wise, any comment on the rig?? Also, I am just wondering whether is this pc is going to come under 20kg for travelling purpose?? If possible, any advice on any modification on the rig in order to make it fit into smaller casing without sacrificing any performance??

Hi, I got a mild acne problem. Hence, i started using QV gentle cleanser and moisturising day cream with SPF 30+. May i know how long does it take to see the effect? I understand everyone will respond differently due to different skin condition. I am confused already. I just finished my diploma in business admin. I need advice to choose between the three business related degree mentioned above to cont studying. Which one has the better prospect? I understand that all three are affected by the economic situation nowadays. But relatively, which has the best prospect among those three? I need to make my decision soon

And then, UK or Aussie or Local is better to study these degree?

I understand that it is too late to ask for recommendation now as i already bought the machine. Well, back to the story, I just bought Acer 6930g like almost a week ago if i am not mistaken. I am just wondering about the failure rate of this machine because since i got it, I did hear some crackling noise from my tuba when I played my music at times and when i played dmc4 on highest setting, there were moments where the screen go black but i can still listen to the sounds, etc. Fyi, those moments are not long. It just happen when I pressed jump button to shoot at the boss (Belial).

I don't mean to upset anyone else. But as i said, I just wondering how the failure rate of Acer 6930g and I just want to be aware of any possible mishaps as well as what is the general opinion on Acer 6930g in the market (whether it is a faulty machine or watsoever)
