Exchanging GPU bought before GST

Hi guys, not sure where to post this as it involves GST if I posted this in the wrong place do let me know.

So my story is this, bought a GPU a few days before GST and I found that it was faulty the day I took it home.
So I told the guy who sold it to me about it and ask me to go to the shop after GST as it is very pack.

Now when I go to the shop to make the exchange 1 for 1, they requested that I pay the 6% GST. Is there such a thing as this?

I mean I bought the card, paid in full and why am I required to pay the extra 6% for GST when i bought it before the implementation?

Building a new rig need suggestion

So I'm kinda pump up to build my first ever rig. Below are some of the details that might help you in giving me suggestion/recommendation.

1. STATE your budget = RM 2.5-3k
2. STATE the parts that you wish to re-use = none
3. STATE your purpose. (Mostly gaming and watching movie)
- 3a. If computer gaming - STATE the game = Some games like AC, Civ 5 and some FPS game like COD or BF
- 3b. State the monitor you're using and also gaming preference = Have no monitor atm and i do not mind mid-detail gaming.
4. STATE your intended purchase date = Hopefully before GST kicks in.

MS SQL store multiple result in variables

Hi, I'm having trouble with getting the result I want from my query. I have written a query like so.

select country from Itinerary where schedule between '2014-08-01' and '2014-08-20' group by country having sum(participant) > 20

The query will be using the sample data from this table.

When executed, it returns 2 rows of result : row 1 = Malaysia, row 2 = South Korea. How do i set them in a separate variable like a = Malaysia and b = South Korea as I still want to filter the result more.?

I'm currently doing a project that requires a server, an android app and a website. What is the available or best solution to connect the app to the website so that the server can be updated from both side. So far I've only found out that you can use MS SQL server and SQL Lite to do this not including PHP as I'm not well verse in that language. Is connecting the website to the server and the app connected to the website be a wise choice?(App -> Website -> Server) Just need some insight on which methods is best to approach on this matter.

Hi there, have a question to ask.

i have a header file called admin with codes as below.

and in my main.cpp i call out the function

admin.search_user(x,i);

My question is, is it possible for header files to reference value from the main.cpp like in above? But the codes above are wrong it say that "void admin::search_user(string x, int &y)" declaration is incompatible.

Is there any other way to in beside return the value?

Hey guys,am looking for a sling bag that looks leathery and the material should be soft.
This is usually used when I'm wearing formal wear to uni so i need something that can fit an A4 paper in it and also a plastic A4 size file.

My budget would be around RM150~ ish if it's around RM200 I don't mind having a look at it for extra choices if I like it.

[VB.net] Getting last ID from MS Access Table

I've found a way to make this work but it only works if the ID are all in integer value 1001,1002 and etc

But my problem right now is, due to multiple table with different ID, I declare all the different ID as A1001 for admin and C1001 as CustomerID.
How should i approach this problem as the C and A makes the ID as a string.

So... my iPhone 4 weather app is acting a little weird. When i delete the old weather entries that was added last time, it will appear again on the weather app once i stop the app and relaunch it. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Having internal speaker problem on my laptop

HI, thanks for taking the time to help me. So here's the problem, sometimes when i unplug my ear phone from the laptop, the laptop speaker just doesn't produce or make any sound. But when i plug in my earphone, there's sound coming out from it. Does this have something to do with the software or drivers?

Oh btw, when I plugged in the external subwoofer there is sound coming from it... And that's just weird.
But when i restart my laptop the speaker is working fine again, weird huh?
