In an online video sent to citizen journalism website Stomp, a live frog is seen stabbed alive, stripped clean of its skin, and its inedible innards removed to be served as fresh 'sashimi' on an iced platter.

The frog, which was first kept alive in a kitchen, was prepared in front of the customer after an order was placed.

After it was sliced up with much precision only a sashimi chef could have and had its skin ripped from its body, the frog can be seen twitching and its eyes were blinking while it was served fresh on the cold platter.

The rest of the frog is simmered to make a soup after the sashimi bits are taken off.

According to Stomp, the frogs used in this dish are bullfrogs raised specifically for cooking and are therefore safe and delicious. The restaurant reportedly ships in about five frogs per day.

The Stomp reader condemned the act, saying that it was 'an extreme act of cruelty to animals'.

"I feel sick watching how the woman could still smile and eat sashimi while the frog was looking at her.

"I love to eat frog porridge, especially frog legs! I'm fine with eating raw food but I definitely wouldn't want to see the frogs still twitching around on my plate and eventually die before my eyes.

"The poor frog in the video is being tortured alive and made to watch its own innards get ripped and placed on a serving platter. How cruel is that?"

Bullfrogs as food are not uncommon and are considered as a delicacy in Namibia, Africa, where it is eaten in its entirety except for its internal organs. Bullfrogs are eaten as well as in the United States, where they are cooked. However, eating it alive and fresh as seen here is rare and not common in Japan.

According to television show Ripley's Believe It or Not , American bullfrogs are invasive species in several places across the Pacific, including Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

They are known to be voracious eaters and have an impact on places where there are no natural predators.

In a twisted way, bullfrog sashimi is culinary revenge.

Sri Mutiara Condo

The most freaking story I ever heard is about a condominium called Sri Mutiara Condo along Sg Besi’s highway which is leading intoto Jalan Tun Razak. My aunt was staying there last time so all the relatives would visit her house at least once a year.

I remember my first visit was back in year 2001 where we went to the wrong floor. My aunt was staying on the 1st floor but my family and I went to the 9th floor instead. My mum was on a wheel chair then so I strolled her along the corridor looking for my aunt’s house. All of us noticed that all the doors on every singe unit either had a talisman or quran or some sort of protection which we felt it was pretty weird.
A year later, my cousin warned us not to go there alone because one of his friend staying on the 3rd floor was possessed. The friend was a lady Fillipino who could only speak English. But all of sudden, she spoke in a man’s voice with an Indonesian accent. She even wanted to jump out from the balcony. At least 6 of my cousin’s friends tried to tie her up and carried her out of the building.

On the way of carrying her out of the building, she bit my cousin’s friend. Upon reaching car park, the condo security guard saw them. Not all all surprised, he asked them if she was possessed. Does this means that the security guard had witnessed this sort of incident often?

There are lots of details but is too long to share. Then years later, my aunt who was staying there was advice by a friend (who able to see things) not to stay there any more because the building is crowded with those things. So my aunt and her family moved out within 2 months.

There are many spooky and creepy stories about this building and I think Seekers should go there to investigate

If you are in Singapore and you still haven’t heard of “Gary Ng”, you are seriously outdated. Gary Ng had sex with many women, including banker, poly girls, his own cousin, beer auntie, his friend’s niece, ect. Gary Ng took video of his sex session with all the women he had sex with, then he posted on internet, a porn site. Gary Ng even created a thread in Sammyboy Forum to share the videos with all the folks there. Later on, as usual, the mainstream media “exposed” Gary Ng, made people condemn Gary Ng, and called him Singapore’s version of Edison Chen. Gary Ng took down all the video not long after that. Many are disappointed because they got the news too late and missed the chance to enjoy the video.

But no, Gary Ng did not went into hiding. He accepted an interview with TNP, talked about the reasons of what he had done (his 3 ex-girlfriends all betrayed him and had sex with other men while they were together), kind of revenge at girls. I think the copy of TNP will be available online on tomorrow, 23rd March 2009 (link available at the bottom of this post). But, people don’t want the interview, they want Gary Ng’s sex videos! No worries, instead of posting in porn site, Gary Ng uploaded the videos to his Google Video account, and created a blog to share with others all his encounters. Gary Ng’s blog is called “SeX iS A Natural Part oF Life, Love it”
