Never be shy to admit you cant swim, if you cant swim and thinks you can never be able to swim, prove yourself & your friends wrong! because we trained the oldest student we had to overcome their fear of water and taught them to swim no matter what age you are at. Pfftt, i learnt how to swim when i was 28 years old. i thought i could never be able to swim before. but yeah i can swim! and i love the deeper side of the pool now..

‘Teach Christians a lesson, ban Malay bibles’

SHAH ALAM: Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak should ban the Malay bible the al-Kitab from Malaysia in retaliation for the Christian community’s “ingratitude”, right-wing Malay group Perkasa urged last night.

“We have been compromising, we have given them leeway. They wanted the Malay Bible, we allowed them to have it… they were still not satisfied,” said its chief Ibrahim Ali said at the Perkasa Selangor Conference 2013 here.

“It is better that we urge the government and the prime minister to rescind its decision to allow Malay bibles in Malaysia!,” he said to loud applause and roars of approval from the audience of about 500 of its members.

The Perkasa chief was responding to the Catholic Church’s recent announcement that it would not give up its struggle for the rights to use the Arabic word ‘Allah’ in its weekly publication, The Herald.

This was after the Court of Appeal unanimously ruled on Monday that The Herald could not use the word ‘Allah’ on the basis that the word was “not integral” to the Christian faith.

Cops on the hunt for Facebook gun salesman

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 — The authorities are hot on the heels of a gun salesman who has been offering an arsenal of weapons for sale on Facebook.
The anonymous man had over the past week offered a range of guns and ammunition costing between RM4,000 and RM15,000.
An AK-47 rifle was being hawked for RM12,000 while a Smith & Wesson model (500), a single-action large calibre revolver, including two boxes of ammunition were available for RM15,000.
Also available were cheaper pistols for RM4,000.
But soon after the page, called “Malaysia Gun Shop,” caught the attention of Facebook users and the city police, it was taken offline.
City CID chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said police have started an investigation after being alerted to the page by Facebook users.
“We initiated an investigation to track the person who created the page as soon as were alerted to it.”
Ku said whether the Facebook page owner actually had the weapons, or was simply posting pictures, is still under investigation.
“We are working with the cyber crime department and other authorities to track him down,” he said.
The case is being investigated for weapon trafficking and possession of firearms.
