Hi,

My MOBO is MSI 770-C45 and currently all the fans connectors are occupied. I am thinking to add one fan to the side of the casing but all pins are occupied.

Is there extension or something like that?

Currently there is one at the front and another at the back. If I were to add another one to the side, should it do push or pull?

Thank you.

Hi,

I am not sure whether this is the correct place to ask this question.

I am thinking to replace the stock heatsink on my HD 4850 as it reaches 70+ degree when I am playing game with the fan speed set to 65%. It is too noisy for me if I were to increase the fan speed further.

Is Zalman VF900 good enough? I am not going to OC it. This will set me back of around RM160 (?). Is Zalman VGA cooler readily available in Lowyat shops?

Thanks.

Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Hi,

First of all, I am not sure is this the correct place to ask this question.

Basically I am developing data entry applications for my client by using Microsoft Visual Basic. The have been running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as their back-end database for many years. However for current project, they have decided to upgrade it to the 2008 version, which I am not familiar with. The database will be used for storing purposes and upon completion of data entry, I will pull the reports from the database and put it in proper format by using ASP. The volume of each project is less than 100k records, with less than 100 fields.

My question here is, which edition of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 should they purchase?

Thanks.

Hi,

I remember I read at somewhere before there is a rule that any apartment/condo has to be refurbished (repaint, lift maintenance and etc) when it reaches 10 years old. Is this true? Or it is up to the management whether to refurbish or not?

Who will bare the cost? The tenants will have to fork out a certain amount of money? Or the management will use the monthly maintenance fees to fund it?

Thanks.

Prima Tiara 2, Sri Sinar

Me and my gf is planning to buy a property for own stay. Our budget is less than RM200k.

We went to view a unit at Prima Tiara 2 yesterday. I can't remember how many sq. ft. But should be around 920-940 sq. ft. It is RM160,000 with 3 bedrooms and a car park. Maintenance is RM110. I wonder why is it so expensive since it is only an apartment and there is no swimming pool. It is facing KL city but the Twin Towers is blocked by the MATRADE bulding. This place is quite convenient if you have a car as in easy access to Jalan Kuching and LDP. This unit is currently rented by a couple and very well maintained. It is freehold.

Is it worth buying?

Any other recommendation for property below RM200k in KL area? Preferably freehold.

I have shortlisted many,
Nova 1 - Too old, 20 years apartment
Menara Sri Damansara
Ketumbar Heights - Hill area, worried

and etc...

Thanks.
