USB Wifi adapter DWA140 unable to connect AES

Hi,

My DLink DWA140 on my PC used to be able to connect to my Asus RT-N12 router with WPA2/AES encryption until recently it suddenly had no internet access.
I was still able to connect to the network but only as "Unidentified network" with "no internet access".

After a few hours of troubleshooting, I found out that the problem is because the DWA140 for unknown reason can no longer connect to AES. I have to set it to TKIP in order to get connection to home network and internet access. But doing so will lower the connection back to wireless G speed. Tried it on other PC and it's still the same. Only can TKIP.

Update the firmware for the adapter liao but still same.

My laptop and iphone can connect on WPA2/AES wireless N mode so I'm quite sure my router no problem.

So is this a hardware problem? Must change dongle liao? Or just leave it and let it connect at G speed?
Please enlighthen me.

cda9887 powering Morel Maximo, good enough?

Hi all sifus,

I wish to enjoy my music during my 50km daily driving commuting to work while keeping my ICE setup as simple as possible. Dun intend to install sub n amp.
Hence, I sold my kenwood ddx4038 n gave away a pair of JBL china component to a friend.

My current setup is as follow:

HU : Alpine CDA9887
Soundproofing : STP double layer on front doors
Car : Honda Fit GE
No rear speakers.

My choice of components will be the Morel Maximo 6.
Intend to run 2way active crossover.
Question is will the 9887 drives the Maximos well and anywhere close to their full potential?
Or should I take 1 more step and go for the Tempo 6.
Will the unamped Tempo sound worse than the unamped Maximo?
Price is only about RM300 difference.
