Tax Deduction Rate for Foreign Employee in Macau

Hi All,

I am considering an offer to work in Macau, can anyone help to provide information about taxation and other compulsory fund for foreign employee?

My offer goes like these:

Basic : USD 2000 - 2500 (in negotiation)
Meal Allowance : USD 30 per day
Bonus : Contractual one month + performance bonus
Commission : In the range of USD 300 to 1000
Accommodation provided
Transportation and other travelling expenses are claimable
Return Air tickets plus travel insurance coverage

Hope to check out my take home pay before accepting the offer.

By the way, does the above package look good? It's a permanent position to develop Macau, Hong Kong and South China markets. I see it double my current income but not sure I am immune to home sick or not, I used to travel to those places in one to two weeks (maximum) period, and honestly I start missing everything at home.

Anyone currently working in Macau would like to share your life experience?

Questions about Caveat on Land

hi guys, hope to get some advice here, problem of fight over the land...

the piece of agricultural land under 6 brothers name, and now one of them claimed that he want to take over whole piece of land but the offer price was 8 times lower than market price, he stated that he has been developing the land (not exactly true) and he is not willing to offer any higher price.

Of course, nobody willing to accept the offer, and after rounds of negotiation, the results still negative.

My questions:

1. Any possibilities to sell the land if majority of the title owner agree?

2. If the one who object selling the land and wanted to enter private caveat, can he do it alone without consent from other title owner? if the answer is yes, how soon it can be remove and how many times he can enter caveat? Does it require specific reason in entering caveat?
