Which audio recorder?

Hi all,

I need a USB audio recorder so that I can connect it to my notebook, and record audio sounds into it using maybe Audacity or other sound recording software.

The input will be analog stereo plugs directly outputted from a Yamaha 12 channel mixer.

Last time I recorded using mic input in the notebook but the sound quality just sucks 100000% times and unusable.

I hope anyone can shed a light on this. Budget not much, better if < RM 1k. I've looked to Audigy 2 NX and maybe some E-MU. Are those the one I should buy?
