Hi guys,

My friend's civic fd 07 broke down in the middle of highway last week. Towed to a workshop and mechanic said it might be engine problem. After checking, this was the quotation given

TLDR: mechanic said engine problem, timing chain needs changing, many valves in the engine needs to be replaced. Total cost 6.5k of which labour is 1.2k.

Is this quotation okay? Need some advice before proceeding to the repair.

[WTA] Nikon 10.5mm fisheye with a slight dent

Saw this lens yesterday while browsing around.. Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye f2.8 - one of my dream lens. Priced at about 200pounds/Rm1000 but with a catch- it's got a slight dent at the front element (maybe internal as well, only see the pic)

It's such a good price for this lens - i mean it's RM2k++ new.. I browsed around to see if there's any mention of the cost of replacing the front element etc and found nothing. Will this affect the picture quality, the slight mark? Because if it's just cosmetic, I might as well buy it...

[WTA] Which electro-acoustic for beginners?

I've been spending some time with my friend's Takamine G220, and I decided it's time for me to get one of my own. However electro-acoustic attracts me more than normal acoustics, so I'm looking to get myself one. I have a budget of about RM1250 / £250, and my friend recommends that I get a guitar with a solid top. I was looking at Yamaha CPX500 when a friend told me that Yamaha guitars are overpriced, and recommends other brands (Washburn, Tanglewood as I'm in the UK) - but I'm kinda more attracted to the likes of Fender, Takamine and Ibanez.

I'm more keen to the Fender Sonoran due to the unique Fender strat head, but I hate the plywood colour of it. Others attract me a lot too, but I'm really not sure which one's better than which etc. Real noob here lol. Would prefer a red sunburst colour if available, as I'm x really into natural finish.

Anyone with any recommendation / experience on these models ? And oh, please do suggest if you do have other models in the price range.
