Myvi wheel bolt broke

Hi sifu, would like to ask how much to change a wheel bolt nowadays?

I was changing a flat tire and the wheel bolt snapped when I'm removing the nut.

I sent my myvi to the P2 service center last month and they did wheel balancing and alignment. They must have overtightened the nut.

Should I make a complaint and insist them to repair without cost. Or is it something cheap?

Can a USB-C dock cause hardware mulfunction?

Hi Sifus,

I have a Lenovo Laptop and I purchased a USBC dock where I also connect it with 2 HDMI and my charger.

About a year ago, i noticed my win key and right arrow key is not functioning. At first I thought it was just bad luck that the keys malfunctions.

However recently, the 4, 5, r, t, f, g, v, b keys are not responsive as well. Yesterday the mouse that I used start to be unresponsive.

Could it be the USBC dock that cause hardware malfunction?

DIY or Buy Commuting Bicycle? Which is cheaper?

How to stop dog whining in the morning

Recently adopted a dog and it keeps whining early in the morning.

While many website encourage to ignore the whining, it is not feasible as neighbors are sensitive to noise.

So far I won't put the leash until he sit. Trying not to reinforce the whining behaviour. But today it whine since 5.45am until I come out and the neighbor is not happy with it. Usually I let him out at 6am.

How do you stop dog whining?

House under renovation break in multiple times

Hi, my new house is under renovation since a month ago. during this period, we experience 3 break in by thief stealing raw material.

During the 3rd time, they even attempt to break into the house and dismantle the grilling.

We have made police report during the first time. But it is still happening.

Has anyone experience this before?

Dear sifu, may I know if nano sink is worth it? They claim to be easier to clean and less oil stains due to coating.

But is the coating durable? As usage will be heavy at home. Cook and bake a lot. Appreciate your input!

First time applying car loan

Hi sifu,

CIMB is offering 2.85% for car loan but the branch staff told me 3.15% is the lowest they can offer.

When I further query the hotline why is there difference, they ask me to refer back to the branch staff.

I haven't show the branch any documents yet. Do I need to furnish the document first only they will give the lower rate?

When I first start my fan, it's silent. Only after more than 3 hours the fan start to make the noise recorded in the mp3

Stock Charting Software Recommendation

Hi guys, as per topic, do you know of any charting software for KLSE and HKSE?

I will need to have my own watchlist and will need to scroll through them everyday.

In TC2000, i just need to press the down arrow to move on to my next chart.

Unfortunately, ChartNexus doesn't seem to have this function as I can only search for stock manually.

Aeration for Fish Tank

I have a setup as per picture below

I'm trying to make aeration for my fish tank using Bernoulli principle.

Usually, the pipe are filled fully with water in textbooks illustration. However, in my case, the water only flows into the pipe from the diameter only. The middle is air. In this case does it still cause low pressure in the middle of the venturi and cause air to be sucked in?

Guppy turning black and dying

Hi guys. I have a guppy that turn dark and died not soon afterwards. Yesterday morning I noticed then second fish shows the same symptoms (the one at the bottom and the darkest one).

I had them for around 3 weeks. Water had been cycled but I adjusted the water pump a few times. Changing from single outlet to double outlet and back to single outlet. (Experimenting). Have added nitrifying bacteria to turn NH3 to NO3.

Don't think it's water quality or stress from the experiment. Because they die 1 by 1 instead of all together. But I cannot be sure.

Can any experienced care taker diagnose what is wrong with my fish?

Korean characters turned to unknown symbols

Need to do some research on Korea. However, when I open the downloaded the CSV file, the characters turns into symbols like this ¿ä¾ç±â°üÁ¾º°, ½Ãµµº°, Ç×¸ñ

The Korean characters are readable:
1. On the internet
2. Copy and paste Korean characters from Internet to Excel
3. Copy and paste Korean characters to rename file.

Hearing sensitivity and hearing loss

I have ringing in my ears for a few years and what i've read only is this symptom is associated with hearing loss. My doctor also mentioned that the ringing is caused by hearing loss.

At the same time, i can hear soft music that other people cannot hear. Sometimes, when the colleauge from another department (separated by a wall, but the door is not closed) listen to some songs, i can hear the song but not my colleauge who sits opposite me could not. the distance is not far, just a few metres away.

So do I have hearing loss?
