Faulty driver

So a few days ago, my house was struck by lightning. It instantly killed a few appliances in my house and thankfully it didn't manage to roast my pc.

However, after turning it on, I realize that the system inside became faulty. I kept disconnecting from the internet and had to resort to multiple restarts. The next day was worse. When I started up my pc, it couldn't detect my mouse and keyboard. I suspected it was the driver problem so I restored it back to its settings few days ago. After some restarts, the mouse and keyboard gave me the same problem. So i decided to back up my files and restore it to factory settings.

After restoring it, i thought that everything would be solved completely but today I was left with a problem. Besides the usual flashing green colour, my PC's ethernet cable started flashing orange and it couldn't connect to the internet. I tried plugging it out and in again but it just wouldn't work. It shouldn't be a problem with my router as other device is able to connect through wi-fi.

So guys, do u think it is a problem with the pc's driver or the ethernet cable? I've misplaced my driver disc somewhere so is there any solution to fix it without a driver cd?

Driving Lesson

Hey guys. I will be taking my 2nd driving lesson tomorrow, monday and the test on tuesday.

The 1st one was fun but I kept getting scolded by the instructor which was kinda demoralising. The only problem I had was being nervous and over-excited.

Do you guys have any solution to this nervousness when facing driving lesson? Kindly share plss

So I will be getting UniFi on the 18th. Can't wait as my streamyx is quite sucky (1MB Connection)

I have a few questions. What and how many homeplugs should i buy if i want to place the modem upstairs next to my pc and also connect to iptv. Is there anything I should know about the homeplug thing and what else I should get?
How does this homeplug thing work?

note:House uses single phase

Okay, so I just registered for Unifi yesterday and they will install it on the 18 th

I want to know how they install the optic fibre cable and how they pasang inside the house (not sure how )

Another thing, if ayam want my modem upstairs but the tv is downstairs ,can they help route it upstairs? coz i read through their faqs and they say must do all (hypptv,internet) installation on that day.

HI..I'm pretty new in buying a new computer so I'm not sure and I need help .I'm planning on having Intel i5,some good graphics card,500 gb hdd,4 gb ram and windows 7.I'm not sure what else there is to add,so if u mind please help.My budget is RM2.5k-3k.If possible i would like to have it a bit cheaper. BTW,Is it possible if i buy the specs from Low Yat and have them set the pc up for me. THANKS
