Question about my 'xigmatek' psu

I bought my rig about a year ago, specs are in my sig. At the time, pc image informed me that they didnt carry fsp hexa psu so they suggested a xigmatek psu, so i agreed to it.

They gave me the xigmatek x-calibre 500w, which happens to manufactured by some chinese company under xigmatek name according to review. I have been running this rig almost daily for 2-3 hours of dota 2. Will this PSU deliver consistent power supply to my usage, and if not, has it potentially damaged certain pc parts?

How to copy the hidden recovery partition to cd

I know my laptop has a hidden recovery partition in the hard drive, so im planning to copy it to a cd to make a bootable system image, but i have no idea how to do it! I already did a system repair disk, but i cant seem to find a tutorial on how to access the hidden recovery partition and copy it to a disc.

Gaming headset under RM100

Looking for a headset under rm100. will be using it for gaming, and some youtube n music on my laptop. the headset MUST have a microphone to chat while playing. i hope that it would last with me for 2 yrs without any wire problems.

plz dont recommend me a4tech headphone, i got one, the fabric wire all come out expose the inner plastic wire, nid use celotape to stick it back, and the connector where i can change volume/microphone switch, wires at both ends all come out, and i nid to use celotape stick it back

so enough of my rant, any decent headset under rm100? so long its decent build quality, decent sound quality and can last me, then can recommend me.

Sony Vegas Pro 10 preview lag

Im using acer timelinex 4820tg, i5-460m, 2gb ram, ati mobility radeon hd 5650. i use a dslr to shoot some 720p video, when i put in sony vegas pro, then i do simple transition (the default one when you overlap videos), the preview will lag like crazy, and i wont be able to see the effect. even though i put preview to the lowest settings possible, it still lags. is this sony vegas pro 10 prob? or isit cuz i only hv 2gb ram then got problem? last time i edit 720p video i remember only little lag, not lag until so serious.

Is it possible with this budget to get a gpu instead of the integrated graphics card? cuz i hope this pc can last for at least 2-3 yrs. without upgrading any parts.

Gaming rig for 3k

I kinda noob in this pc specs thing, so I kinda need some help. I mainly use for gaming(sc2) preferably at high settings or mayb even max if my budget allows, and some video rendering. I would prefer to get a strong gpu than get i7(i5 is fine for me). Price includes the rig, the os, monitor(fullhd preferably) and speakers.

gaming headset under rm200

i cant find a headset that suites me! price range preferably between rm100-150, but i can stretch to rm200. the one i liked the most was razer orca, since it can be used for gaming and song, but the problem is that it has no mic, which i nid for skyping when gaming (sudden attack). i have a a4tech one now, which kinda sucks.
i would preferably get razer or logitech, as i heard they are quite gud. all i nid is a headphone with mic, below rm200, and comfortable for long hours. my current one really hurts my ears

i kinda like the xps 15z, since it has the macbook pro like design(which i totally love), and decent specs. is the gt425m a good laptop gpu? i wanna use this laptop for at least three years. is there any other laptops that have similar specs or perhaps a better gpu and maybe cheaper?

1 more thing, DO NOT recommend me an acer laptop. i hate acer laptops. planning to sell off my 4820tg soon. i cant tahan that laptop. audio quite lousy, horrible screen, keyboard always flex, dvd drive will be so damn loud (like its scraping against something) when i install game/watch dvd. ugh!! i'll never get an acer laptop AGAIN.

anyways, back to the topic. any other good looking laptops and have good specs? if cheaper will be better too. i looked at the y470, but i dont like how lenovo keyboards have the fn key at the control key place. i do ply games, and that really messes up my gaming experience.

edit: apparently you guys thought i was a gamer. yes i am, but im not a hardcore gamer. i probrably ply like twice a week only. i usually like to surf the web, youtube, occasional video editing and gaming. gaming is for weekends only. i ply suddenattack, call of duty and starcraft 2. i ply suddenattack the most though

everytime i boot up my laptop(acer 4820tg), im always getting this error code.

The error

once i click ok, the error is gone. it really annoys me since it appears every single boot up. after doing som research, mom.exe is a process related to the amd card, am i right? i saw some saying once they open internet explorer, that error code appears.but my internet explorer opens up fine. i dont feel like doing a sytem restore, since i did alot since it started happening, at the beginning i just brushed it off as another error.

HELP!!! i tried doing system scan already, after deleting some viruses(O.O), this still happens! its annoying the hell out of me!

ok, so this is my story. my mum just got herself an ipad 2, so i downloaded apps to it. so i wanted to download garageband, since the file was abt 300mb, i decided to dl it with my laptop. so once i clicked download, it said something like i had an outstanding amount and i needed to enter a credit card to clear it before i could download anything. so i typed in her credit card, then it said:"your payment method was declined. plz trying another payment method". so i tried typing another credit card, but it said the same thing. i tried typing in other credit cards but it still kept showing the same error. now i cant download any new apps since it will just say the same thing! can someone help me? it's really bugging me since i cant download anymore new apps, since it will just say the same error! now her ipad 2 has only a few apps, and i cant dl anymore! anyone experiencing this now? any solutions to fix this?

i have the streamyx 1mbps plan, but i usually only get 500kbps download speed and 100 kbps upload speed! why like this???? i use prolink h6300g modem, i read in the prolink website say it support abt 24 mbps download and 1mbps upload, but why is mine so slow? i dont get it!??!?!! even my iphone 3gs the 3g network beat my home internet! shouldnt the streayx be faster!?!????!?!??!?!

blackberry torch performance

I've been thinking of getting the Blackberry Torch as it looks quite good, but after looking at some reviews, i was a little dissapointed at its mediocre performance especially in the web browser (quite important to me), then i saw a page about rim releasing and update for the torch to solve the issue, so i was wondering if it really fixed the performance issues? especially the web browser, is pinch and zoom better now? less laggy?

can anyone attach a video of the torch using the latest update, running the browser, going to some sites, testing out pinch to zoom and stuff. Thx!
