Hi, forumers. I'm currently looking for advice on how to proceed further to claim warranty for the monitor I bought from Neotez (which is carry by PCByte) where I try to reach out to them but all I receive is just silent treatment. I'm being frustrated on this issue because it has been going on for about 2 weeks, and i'm not sure how to file a report at consumer tribunal.

My monitor is purchased on 7th Jan 2023 where it comes with 3 years warranty. I first msg to them (Neotez OS) via Lazada Chat on

After digging a while, I found out this brand was carry by PCByte hence I tried to msg them as well in Lazada Chat but I'm getting the same thing as well, read message with no respond.

Since the brand carrier itself doesn't want to fulfill their own warranty to their client, I'm kinda lost on what is the next step should i go. Should I just abandon the idea of claim warranty and let it be or go to their warehouse at Puchong to protest?

Really come as a surprise... Today is Sunday so I was out for quality time with family, until a while ago i noticed my phone has a email notification from my old M$ account that i rarely use for anything nowadays, its sole purpose now is act as my main's recovery only. And that particular email contains PIN for reset password and there i began to suspicious and check through my account activity and then voila... both my account was under attack for more than a month and I didnt notice a wink until now.

for now i enabled passwordless and hope for the best... what else the countermeasure do I still have?

btw, all unsuccessful sign-in are because wrong password.

Looking for Laptop Board Chip Repair Specialist

Hi LYN Forumers,

Does anyone have a good and trusted specialist to troubleshoot and replace chip for laptop that can intro to me?

Refer to my signature below, I own a Asus TUF F15 laptop for about 2.5 years and a few months ago when testing some equipment with usb c port (specifically, its usb 3.2 gen 2 type C port, thank god its not thunderbolt 4 port), I wasn't expecting the USB C cable that i'm trying to connect was damaged internally and somehow rigged off that usb C port and now it is not working anymore. I had inspected the board that there are no burn or anything chip dislocated. I wanted to get it repaired but have no connection on who and where i should look for such specialist as I know not all PC shop has this sort of service and they would most probably collect my laptop and send it elsewhere to repair (middle man).

Preferable within KL and Selangor area.

P/S: I will format the disk before deliver it. But if you are interested, I used all these 5 disks as Disk Array with Microsoft Storage Spaces with Parity as a single drive to store my anime collection. If you are interested to check out those anime, I can remain the disk as is without touching it, but you may required to buy a 5 bay enclosure (such as ORICO DS Series 5 Bay HDD Enclosure) and attach all the 5 disks in CORRECT ORDER to read the data stored in the disks. Should be able to open in Windows 10 and 11. Disk Array performance i had tested so far is about 300MBps read and 120MBps write using the above said disk enclosure.

Hi everyone, I planned to buy Xiaomi Redmi 8 from Lazada Xiaomi official store on coming 11.11 but I have a few questions bugging me if I should really buy phone via Lazada because of a few risk. Is there any one who had experience with purchase phone from xiaomi or huawei via lazada before? (specifically, official store that deliver phones from oversea)
1. does the phone have MCMC label? because lately MCMC boasting the importance of the label and get certified else it is illegal and risk being confiscated.

Reason for sale: Not going to repair it cause hardly use it nowadays until i accidentally cracked the screen. If you are interested for it's spare parts like the battery or its mainboard for replacement (especially for its disk drive, flash drive have life span, if its corrupted you can get this one replace with mine), you may consider it. (I asked for replacement cost at Lenovo Service Center, the price is simply too much for me to effort, or you could say it's skinning your meat)
