Virtual ListView

Hi All,

I am seeking for help on the topic above, i wish some professionals out there could share your experience and opinion on this.

I have a collection class which maintain a list of data and updated by a worker thread from time to time.
There is a buffer limit control over the collection class in order to avoid memory overflow.

I have a virtual list view which will access to the collection class to read the latest data record updated and reflect in its display.

Here is my question, since we know that there is no cache for ListView in VirtualMode.
How am i going to maintain the ListView display and stop its update when i have a mouse click on the ListView.

i have tried SendMessage(ListView.Handle, WM_SETREDRAW, false, 0), but somehow RetrieveVirtualItem event is still triggerred when i have a random click on the ListView.

Thank in advance for your kindness and sharing.
Enjoy your weekend.
