Can i take collagen everyday?

Hi ladies, i'm current on kinohimitsu collagen. The instruction says a bottle a day for the first 6 days thereafter one bottle every 2 days.

I've noticed that during the period that i'm taking it everyday, my skin improves, my cellulite deceases but once i take it every two days, i cant sustain such results.

Anyone knows if it is ok to take this everyday?

Help I have cellulite!

Help! I have discovered I have stage 1 cellulite on my thighs and stage 2 on my bum. The cellulite on my bum has been there for a while so I have pretty much ignored it. But now it's starting to get visible on my thighs when there is pressure. Example when I'm sitting down and crossing my legs I can see some dimples on the leg that isn't crossed.

I really like my skirts and I don't want it to get worst. I've read various articles on the Internet about products etc but am afraid to take the reviews at face value cos there might be an element of sponsorship by the manufacturer.

Ladies/guys, appreciate your feedback on how you managed your cellulite. I know there is no miracle cure available in Malaysia yet (though I did see a video online on a minor surgical procedure just approved by the US FDA that diminishes cellulite after a few months of treatment) and all we can do is manage it and hope it doesn't get worst.

I just bought a bottle of clarins high definition body lift that apparently helps temporarily manage cellulite. I've also read that collagen helps. Is that true?

And yes, I'm aware exercise helps too so I've started an exercise routine.

So if I'm a bit bodo, I've never really been exposed to these products. But now at 33, funny things like this are starting to surface so I'm starting to PANIC!

Jobless grad south korea

Young South Koreans face jobless woes with 'graduate glut'

Song A-Hyun was once confident she would follow in her father's footsteps -- graduate from one of the nation's best universities, land a plum job at a top firm and enjoy a high-flying career.
But the 23-year-old's dreams have faded. Over the past year she has sent out more than 40 resumes ahead of her graduation this month -- only to be rejected every time.
A degree at the top women's university Ewha, a high grade point average of 3.7, a year-long stint in Hong Kong as an exchange student, flawless English skills and two internships were simply not enough.
"Everyone has a pretty good GPA, scores pretty well in English proficiency tests and has done one or two internships, so there may be nothing special in my resume," Song told AFP.
"I've worked really hard to get all these qualifications, though...the thing is, there are too many people like me and too few jobs for us."
Song is one of a growing number of highly-educated young South Koreans, who face grim job prospects amid a worsening graduate glut and slowing growth after decades of rapid development.
South Koreans' zeal for education has long been cited as a driver of its stellar rise from acute post-war poverty to global economic powerhouse.
Children and teenagers spend stressful childhoods cramming to get into prestigious universities -- or colleges of some kind, at least. This is seen as vital to prosperity, social standing and even marriage prospects.
The so-called SKY universities -- Seoul National University, Korea University and Yonsei -- are the most prestigious.
But given growing graduate joblessness, the government has launched a campaign to encourage more youngsters to bypass university or college. It is pushing more businesses to hire school-leavers.
About 72 percent of high-school graduates went on to college or university last year, slightly lower than a record 83.8 percent in 2008 but still one of the world's highest figures.
But desirable jobs are dwindling as rapid development gives way to a more measured peace and more youngsters shun small- or mid-sized companies offering lower pay.
President Lee Myung-Bak has repeatedly urged college students to lower their standards and seek jobs at lesser-known companies, and has adopted more programmes to support vocational high schools.
"The excessive 'education inflation' of our country is causing so many problems socially and economically," Lee said earlier this year.
He even proposed setting a hiring quota at government bodies for high-school graduates -- a measure intended to encourage more teenagers to seek work after school ends, instead of heading straight for college with no clear goal.
The official overall unemployment rate is low at around 3 percent, but the rate for those aged 25 to 29 is more than twice as high.
In the second quarter unemployed college or university graduates -- estimated to total 373,000 -- outnumbered jobless high-school graduates for the first time in more than 10 years.
Even at Seoul National University, nearly 30 percent of its Ph.D holders were jobless in 2011 compared to about 15 percent two years earlier.
Big-name firms, apparently responding to official prodding, are hiring or promising to hire more school-leavers and promoting them to higher positions.
Samsung this year hired some 700 high-school graduates for office jobs, in a rare move. SK Group vowed to fill 2,100 jobs -- 30 percent of new openings for this year -- with such applicants.
Other top firms like LG and Hyundai Motor unveiled a plan to hire high-school graduates in far greater numbers than previously.
"Having many people with advanced degrees is a good thing, but in this country, there are too many of them compared to the number of suitable jobs for them," Kim Hi-Sam, a researcher at the Korea Development Institute, told AFP.

"Conglomerates like Samsung, LG, or Hyundai account for only 10 percent of our job market...but ask any college students, they all say they deserve jobs at these top firms and nothing less."
The labour ministry, in a recent report, warned of a shortage of 500,000 jobs for college or university graduates by 2020 and an oversupply of 320,000 jobs available for high-school graduates.
It called for more efforts to prod youngsters to enter the job market early, to cut the number of colleges and to ease discrimination in pay and promotion against high-school graduates.
But for now, college graduates like Song are still desperate.
"If I have children, I'll never press them to go to college like my parents did. I'll tell them to find their real passion first instead of just following the pack," she said.
"But getting married and having children sounds like an impossible luxury right now...until I find a job."

branded goods @ discount price?

in the past few years online sites and discount shops have "mushroomed" selling branded goods at slash down prices. most of the time, these are last season's goods, goods bought overseas where they are cheaper or goods bought during warehouse sales. personally i just bought a bag for a slashed down 40% off the msian retail price. this lead to a conversation i had with a colleague who had some strong views about discounted purchases.

she is of the opinion that buying discounted branded stuff is no dif from buying fakes. in her point of view, if u have to shop around for the biggest discounts, u cant afford the bag and am pretending to be something u r not. while my blood did boil when she said that, i would like to get some feedback on what u ladies think? do u think people who buy discounted branded goods are fakers trying to blend in OR financially prudent people trying to get the most bang for their buck?

interesting statement on facebook

saw this on facebook and thought this sttm is damn true:

"A woman's loyalty is tested when her man has nothing, a man's loyalty is tested when he has everything".

being an oldfag, i've seen so many (formerly) decent guys cheat on their gf/wife once they make money.

Sample no 1:

P (husband) and E (wife) started dating when they were both in Form 6. after both of them graduated, they got married. 11 years down the road and 1 kid later, P is now a successful businessman with a mistress. when asked about why he has a mistress he explained that he only married his wife cos he couldnt get another girl (poor ma that time). now a young pretty girl likes him and he wants to be with her. unfortunately, he and his wife have a kid, otherwise he will leave his wife for his mistress. he knows that his mistress only wants him for his $$$ but he doesnt quite care.

Sample no 2:

T and his gf G started dating when they both started working. when G reached 30 she told T that she wants to get married. he told her to give him some time cos he wants to work hard and secure his promotion first. 3 years down the road when he got promoted, he dumped G and started dating his fresh grad subordinate.

i can give u further examples but i lazy to type.

what do u guys/gals think?

Hire purchase problem

Hi all,

I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong section.

I think I'm going to have a problem getting my hire purchase sorted out thanks to the new bank negara ruling or at least that's what the sales girl told me. Do you guys think so too? Anyone got jalan to help? Here is the problem:

1) I've only started working in my new company for one month, not even confirm yet. I only have one month pay slip.
2) I took a 5 month break last year to sort some stuff out, so my EA form for 2011 doesn't look that "yummy".

Do you guys think the bank will reject my loan application? Realistically I'm not a financial risk as the loan amount's monthly installment is less than 1/4 of my monthly NET income, I have fd (one account jointly with my mom, and a second account on my own) amounting cumulatively to double the loan amount, good credit history, and I'm putting more than 20% downpayment on the car.

I could ask my mother to act as a guarantor but shy la. so old also have to run to parents.

Anyone can comment?

Memohon Nasihat: Which job to choose? Help!

hi all, need some nasihat on 2 dif job offers, the details are as follows:

CO 1

Type: PLC

Salary offered: Ok la
Other benefits: the normal stuff

Type of work: I can do this in my sleep

Career development: i doubt there is any, it's a big company and the division i'm joining is unlikely to be first choice for promotion purposes. Easy to jump ship, but may take pay cut.

CO 2

Type: PLC

Salary offered: About 15% below what CO 1 is offering
Other benefits: the normal stuff plus ESOS

Type of work: New area, have to belajar again

Career development: extremely good. will be second in line, so if boss gets promoted, strong possibility to replace him since it's a small market and few have experience in this area. this also means it's easy to jump ship if necessary.

my questions:

(1) which will you join?
(2) would you take ESOS in consideration when evaluating salary? For those on ESOS now, can give me some feedback please?

Thanks everyone!

Hi all,

Just want to get ur opinion. I just resigned and my last day of work will be end august. I was thinking of taking a few months off before I start looking for a new job. But my current boss tells me that taking time off will be bad for my "career development". I'm not too sure what to do. I want to take some time off till jan next year to do some charity work and traveling, it would be hard to do so if I am employed. But I'm also scared that it will be taken against me in january when I start looking for a job.

Thanks in advance for ur comments folks.

will you be friends with ur ex?

come, let me tell you my story. i have 3 ex bfs that i am still very good friends with. sometimes we even go double date with their new gf and my bf. i believe that relationships start with friendship and just because a relationship ends (as long as no one cheated on the other), doesnt mean that the friendship ends. but some of my galfriends think that i'm weird, they say that once break up shldnt have any contact. i'm not affected by their views but just tot that this will be a nice topic to discuss on CC.

any comments?
